Dr Rafferty must be one of the best Doctors I've had, always made time to chat and was really interested in how you are, not just health but personal life too. Wish I still had him but he moved on.

I thank you Dr. Rafferty for all you did for me while i was put in a stressful situation at work. He stood up for me and took care of my mental well being from the NSLC job site. The NSLC is bad for harassment and bullying by others and by the management. When the Doctors from home office called me at home, he called them and they finally let up on me. He is a great Dr. also and friendly.

If this is the same Dr. James Rafferty who had a private practice in Kentville back in the 70's, then he is the best Dr. I ever had. He literally saved my life - when all the other Drs and specialists said I was faking my symptoms, Dr. Rafferty, meeting me for the 1st time at the age of 6, knew I was not faking. He was right and I was cured of a life-threatening muscle disease because of him. When I was in the hospital in Halifax with this disease he drove an hour each way to visit and check on me. He remained my Dr until I was in my 20's. I would have him as my Dr again in a heart beat if I lived nearby now.

Kind and compassionate man, would not hestitate to go to him if he were in my area. Extremely experienced and knowledgeable, wish there were more like him. When he was in Kentville, you prayed that you had him at emerg.

An excellent family physician,old school but stays current on new medical procedures.Very pleasant to talk to.He is very prompt to arrange appointment with specialists when warranted.A real class act.
