Smart doctor but not perfect. Seems to be well meaning but was unable to find the cause of any of my health problems after several years of tests and visits. I finally gave up on this doctor when for the first time I actually experienced fruitful care from a good doctor when I insisted on getting a second opinion. Actually having a solid diagnosis and real treatment options for a change made me realize just what a huge waste of time and money Dr. Lichtenstein was for me. Miscommunication between the staff also frequently lead to a real life game of telephone, and several times I would have to repeat myself to different people or become a sleuth in order to find out what exactly had gotten lost in translation. Overall a friendly guy who will listen and try to help, but for me was a failure in the end. He never made a single solid diagnosis to my recollection, and was always too eager to write prescriptions.
