Dr Smith and his staff are great. It is a busy practice, so sometimes I have a short wait. I went to him for dry eyes. It’s the only practice in the area that actually has effective treatments for dry eye. IPL, lipiflow, blephex, and even research programs all working toward helping your dry eye symptoms. I got a great deal of relief and felt I finely found someone who cared.

Dr. Stephen E. Smith is arrogant, incompetent and rude. I was provided with the contact lenses prescription that made my vision worse. He charged me for fitting contact lenses, but never actually checked if I see well in my new contact lenses prescription. Going there is a waste of time and money.

Dr. Smith performed cataract surgery on my father and he is extremely pleased with the results. I see dr smith on a yearly basis and I'm very happy. Family oriented practice as well as family owned. You can't help but feel like part of the family. Great doctor to see if you feel like it's time for a change from corporate feeling practices

Was recommended to him for the treatment of my thyroid eye disease. He deemed my condition to be very minor, and recommended six-month checkups. I woke up one morning with an eye that was so swollen I could not open it. I scheduled an emergency appointment where he diagnosed me with allergies or some type of sinus infection. He prescribed me $100 eye drops. They did not help. I was back in the office a few days later when my actual eyeball began to swell out of the socket to one side. He said it was something else this time, and prescribed more drops and Claritin. Claritin! I knew something was not right, and my endocrinologist confirmed this at my next appointment a few days later. I was immediately referred to a neuro-ophthalmologist who said everything Dr. Smith diagnosed was incorrect and that the sudden swelling was in fact my thyroid eye disease suddenly becoming severe. I could have lost my vision had I not complained to my endocrinologist.
