I have been a patient f Dr. Crooks for almost 20 years. Her knowledge is excellent and communication is as well. Sometimes she is difficult to not bump heads with as I have learned over the years. A few times I was ready to change Neurologists however due to her knowledge and persistence in choosing the best for her patients I am still one of them

Dr. Crooks is up-to-date on the medicines for my husband's Parkinsons. She checks him each time he goes to see her. She is very considerate in that she doesn't want us driving in the snow so she makes sure our appointments are April & October.

I started out with Dr. Crooks, and slowly started to get disappointed in the service. When she left Kalamazoo Neurology and went to Lakeshore Neurology, I stayed with a different doctor at Kalamazoo Neurology. I immediately knew I had made a mistake. I am back with Dr. Crooks and am very happy! Her assistant, Amy, is her backbone! Amy is truly organized and I get call backs or refills that same day EVERYTIME! Dr. Crooks also seems much more at home in her new office and has helped tremendously! I would definately recommend her to someone else!

I felt she listened and truly tries to help me with my MS. I don't feel like she is judging me at all as with previous neurologists. I find her very supportive and encouraging.

    Biography

Dr. Crooks enjoys helping patients with challenging, unusual or complex cases. She believes that neurology is the last great frontier of medicine – making it an exciting field to work in because our understanding of the brain is expanding at an exponential pace. She has a special interest in diseases of the peripheral nerves and muscles. In deciding how she wants to live her life, Dr. Crooks credits her Christian faith. She enjoys running, playing soccer, fishing and spending time with her family. She volunteers at her church and in youth soccer.I strive to use my expertise in neurology to help my patients understand their condition and choose appropriate treatment strategies for their unique situation.
