Run! This doctor Surya Sekar ruined my life 20 years ago. I had to removed my uterus at 45, pre-cancer, but she told me that it would be better if I took my ovaries too because I would come back 10 years later with ovarian cancer. I believed her. The moment my surgery was over that was the beginning of my nightmare that continues to this day. I had to retired from working with the city of NY because after the surgery I developed Fibromyalgia, chronic Fatigue Syndrome and all hell broke loose with my body. I can write a book about my 20 year journey to get a little better, so please, do not believe anything this doctor tells you, go for a second opinion and a third opinion. Why I am saying something now? Because I live in Florida for years now, and I have been too sick to have the energy to do anything. To do this to a young woman of 45 was criminal even if she thought she had the best intentions. You are playing with people's lives. She should be retired by now not working.

I had my first born with Dr. Sekar 19 yrs ago. She knows her stuff. She’s a very good doctor. She is very busy because she’s that good! I’m now in Texas but if I was still in NY, I would still be seeing her. She has the same caliber as the doctors here in Houston Texas.

She seemed confused, perhaps she looked at someone else's chart and came to talk to me. I have high risk pregnancy. She didn't let me
Speak and kept talking as I was talking to her. I wasn't pleased with the whole experience.

Incredible physician! My aunt recommended Dr Sekar to me for uterine fibroid and the associated problems resulting from this condition. I am currently being treated and is extremely pleased with the results so far. Dr. Sekar has thoroughly impressed me time and time again. She is extremely knowledgeable! She possess strong work ethic and a warm personality. She has the ability to articulate complicated issues and present you with various options. If you need a stellar OB/GYN, look no further.

The best doctor you can ever find, she knows what is wrong by you just explaining to her, even before she examines you. I trust her with my life. She has been my doctor for over 25 years.

Love Dr. Sekar. I've had surgery with ease, family members had babies, friend's Mom had hysterectomy. She is an excellent doctor, I now live in FL and will travel to NY to see her. Cannot say enough good things about her.

She is a wonderful warm , caring and experienced doctor. She has delivered both my children and I am hoping she will deliver my 3rd in September. She goes above and beyond the duties of any doctor I know. She is in one word wonderful. We love her and hope she continues in her practice for many years .

She is a caring doctor, however sometimes she rushes through her visit she is very knowledgeable and helpful she makes me feel very comfortable, you cant blame her for rushing her office is always full and she needs to fit everyone in she calls at home with results and is very concerned i love her

She is not caring as everyone thinks, I had a miscarriage due to her lack of concern about my pain. She fnally took an interest after I found another OB/GYN. Would not recommend her at all.
