We had heard good things about him and were referred by our pediatrician. He totally missed the diagnosis. He was condescending and rude to my child. We have never been treated that poorly by a doctor. He didn’t know what he was looking for, so he blamed it on my child and said it was psychological. Turns out he was completely wrong and thankfully we sought out other neurosurgeons who could help us. It was a mistake that could have killed my child had we not gone elsewhere.

Dr. Mittler is one of the most fantastic doctors we have ever come into contact with. His bedside manner, the way in which he explains a diagnosis, his demeanor and approach are basically everything you would want and need when it comes to your child. We are so grateful for him in getting us what our son needed with respect and efficiency. Our experience at Cohen’s would not have been the same without him.

As I was diagnosed with Chiari malformation I was referred to Dr.mitler.
I had an appointment with him and he sent me for three more tests. That was on February 24. I have called the office twice not only have I not heard back from him after waiting on hold for more than 10 minutes to reach his staff I continue to get the runaround. I have never had such an awful experience with any office medical or otherwise. It's been 7 weeks And I have not heard back from the doctor about the results of my tests.

Dr. Mittler and his team treated our grandson Bryce for craniosynostosis, specifically for the premature closing of the metopic suture. From our initial consultation, through surgery and recovery he was amazing! His compassion, patience, skill and expertise allowed each of us, parents and grandparents, to understand the condition and surgical procedure to correct it. While the prospect of surgery on our precious boy was stressful & frightening, Dr. Mittler assuaged our fears and concerns. He explained everything from start to finish and was readily available for questions. Everything proceeded just as he described. We will be forever grateful to r. Mittler and his team. Our grandson is a beautiful, happy, healthy, active 10 month old.

Dr. Mittler has been a Godsend. He has performed two surgeries on our daughter, and she is improving with every passing day. We can't say enough about this fine gentleman, and his staff.
