I was left in the pre-op all day long and had my surgery at 4 pm when it was scheduled for early that morning. After my VP shunt surgery he did not even bother to visit me and I question if he even did the surgery since the Resident handle all the pre-op and after surgery visits . BTW I just had surgery to repair an incisional hernia which was there right after my surgery. I have suffered from three very rare complications after the VP surgery, not sure where things went wrong. Perhaps being an middle aged adult who suffered Hydrocephalus caused the doctor to be less than concerned for the outcome, I don't know.

Dr. Schneider saved my life. I wouldn't be the person I am today without him. Because of him, I am now more independent and have a better quality of life. He is amazing and I plan on naming a future son after him. If you're in need of a neurosurgeon, look no further, Dr. Schneider is the best!!!:-)

He saved our Son's Life and is one of the best Dr.s in the Country. His surgical skill and Knowledge is by far the best. Our son is Healthy and alive today because of him. His bedside manner and attitude is outstanding and he still checks on my son 2 years post surgery, even after we decided on having his treatments done elsewhere. His staff especially Shanna Baron (RN) are the best. They care and treat you like a friend not just a patient. Our son turns 13 years old today and it is only by the Grace of God and the Talent of Dr. Schneider.

Dr. Schneider in a way has saved my life, at 14 years old I was operated on by him and because of that I am here walking on my own two feet. He's done 5 operations on me over the past decade and I wouldn't trust another doctor with my body. He treats me as a daughter and my family like his own. He explains everything in details, answers all our questions and never tries to rush us. He gives every patient the attention they deserve and he is one of the most kind-hearted human beings I have ever met in my life.

He treated our son for a tethered spinal cord. He was very caring and optimistic. When there was a problem prepping for surgery, he immediately came and found us. He followed my son very closely while hospitalized for the following week awaiting the scheduled surgery. Even after I realized that he was not a participating doctor on our insurance I never even considered changing doctors. He is the best!

Wonderful and amazing!! In what was a very trying time for our family, he put our fears to rest when helping us to decide on chosing him to do our daughters brain surgery. He was the 3rd consult, and no one compared to his expertise, his calm approach and complete competence. I felt completely safe with putting my daughter in his care. He can appear aloof, but I think his ability to carry on "regular" conversations is not his forte...but I think that is because he is brilliant and his mind works on a level that is so beyond comprehension in the average world. You want brilliance on the operating table, not brilliance in routine conversation. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes for my appointment, and am so happy to have found this wonderful doctor! Thank you Dr. Schneider...you are a godsend!!!!

Good surgeon, saved my life, although he takes forever when you have an appointment.

He doesn't take time with patient follow up. His air of self importance clouds his patient care and bedside manner. I can't comment on his skill as a surgeon though. His staff is completely clueless; it takes multiple phone calls to set up an appointment.
