Dr. Keevil was seriously negligent of my mother's heatlh, and I blame him for the stroke that impaired her in many ways. When she had her stroke, we measured her BP before going to the hospital. It was sky-high, and she commented that whenever she had gone to Keevil's office for the preceding few years, her BP had been so high that the nurse expressed alarm. Each time, Keevil would smile and say, "That's just white-coat syndrome; you're nervous. We'll measure it again at the end of the appointment." Per Mom, they would never re-measure later. Granted, Mom bears some responsibility here, but she was already in her 70s and was brought up to never, ever question a doctor. He never put her on BP meds or even recommended aspirin. We cannot believe he's still in practice. We dropped him.

Dr Keevil honestly cares about his patients. He makes time in his day so that an appointment can be readily made. He has many contacts within the health care industry and uses those contacts to get quick effective treatment. The staff is quick, polite, and effective. Appointments are usually on time, and apologies are offered when something comes up and there is a delay. When Dr Keevil speaks with you about what is ailing you, he listens, asks questions and has a gentle character.
