Dr. Shetty is a wonderful and caring doctor. I have type 2 diabetes and she has seen me through trying to get it under control and always shows concern about my overall health. For example, I had come down sick one winter, didn't feel good, had a fever off and on. I didn't bother to get in touch with her and suffered through it. When she found out she scolded me for not letting her know and coming in. She really monitors how I'm doing with my diabetes. You just don't see that type of care with doctors anymore. I will say you do have to wait when you have an appointment, but it's worth a little wait to get the care you get.

Dr. Shetty is the nicest doctor I've ever seen. She is caring; she takes her time with her patients; she listens well and responds without condescending; she is thorough and gentle and likeable. She came to greet me in the waiting room and escorted me to the examination room herself. Who does that any more? Her staff is also wonderful, very knoweldgeable and friendly. I did not have to wait long after I arrived.

Even though you have to wait a good amount of time in the waiting room to see her, it is well worth the wait. She is the most efficient Dr I've had so far. She is thorough and gets to know you personally. You can tell she really cares about your health and will do anything to get you better.

Compassionate, thorough, careful, brilliant, serious yet personable, listens to what you say, makes referrals as needed, and thinks for herself. Has evaluated, diagnosed and confirmed some serious things in me that other MDs overlooked or dismissed, and she thoroughly checks things and doesn't make false assumptions. One of the best doctors I've seen in my 50 years. Sometimes you might have to wait a bit, but then you get the attention that you need, so it's definitely worth it. She listened carefully to me and evaluated and diagnosed a serious problem in me that if it were to go untreated much longer might have really wrecked the rest of my life, and about which other doctors previously had treated me like I was exaggerating it or crazy.
