Often find my appointments rushed. I am met with laughter or made to feel like I am either making something up, or told I have health anxiety because I bring up valid concerns with my health.
Was having dizzy spells and BP issues, DR berg told me that both the hospital and shoppers were not the place to have my BP taken as they are stressful environments lol....
Constantly telling me to stop eating bad foods and watch the ingredients in my food and to exercise.
While I can agree that certain choices may not be the best, sometimes you have to work with what you have; but Dr has been unwilling to work with me on that.
Had to literally beg and beg for a referral back to my sleep clinic too.
Sometimes better off using walk-in clinic or hospital. Wait times are ridiculous with him anyways.

Dr. Berg has been my Dr for many years- I find him to be very caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. When needed getting an appointment has never been a problem. He takes his time and is very thorough. He has found medical conditions early enough to get treatment and resolution. His nurse Tina is amazing, personable-and very knowledgeable and accommodating. I feel very lucky and privileged to be on his patient roster.

We are so fortunate to have Dr Berg as our family doctor. He does his research …very thoroughly. I will be in to see him about something and then he will say, “oh, I read about a new treatment approach” (for a chronic condition …that isn’t even related to the visit of the day). And then he immediately got that referral set up for me. He is so caring. My children are grown up. One daughter has a chronic health condition and lives out of province. After one appointment, which was the last one of his day, he asked about that daughter and spent 20 minutes brainstorming some ideas for her care. He is a very kind, caring, and thoughtful doctor.

He knew I had a lot of mental health issues. He called me personally to suggest I find a new Dr. because there was some confusion re: which pharmacy I was going to. It makes me think of the Hippocratic oath; it makes me think of doctors pulling men out of the trenches during the great wars; it makes me think of the Italian doctors working weeks straight when Covid first hit and made videos to warn the word. Then you have this guy - trying to rid a patient because something messed up his billing cycle. Pathetic excuse for a doctor. Pathetic excuse for a human being.

Dr. Berg has been my family doctor for many years. He is very thorough and explains everything well. He is always willing to refer or proceed with further testing/diagnostics when indicated. Tina is a wonderful receptionist as well. Many other complaints (long wait times, booking weeks ahead and only one concern per appointment) are very standard with GP's in a public healthcare system so I would say these are a given with any family doctor and to be expected.

Dr. Berg is an amazing doctor. When I first started seeing Dr. Berg he was very quiet and I’m the friendly and talkative patient. After about a year, Dr. Berg recognized (I believe) that I was an anxious patient and warmed up to my personality and explained things to me without me feeling judged.

There is never a long wait at an appointment because what you come in for, is what you discuss. At first this bothered me BUT the up side to that is if your appointment is at a certain time, you are seen at that time (no more than a couple of minute wait).

Dr Berg’s receptionist (Tina) is absolutely amazing too!!!

I have been with Dr. Berg for over 2 years. He has been my husbands doctor for many years. I find him to be very professional and thorough, very easy to talk to, and based on your need I have never had to wait a long time to get in. I wouldnt agree with any of these negative reviews.

If you need an appointment be prepared to wait at least two weeks. Doesn't listen to patients only allowed to discuss one thing per visit thus not solving problems.

Never on time, part time DR, always charges extra for repeat drugs if you run out b4 you can see him((3-4 weeks for an appt, ) Does not inform you ahead of time b4 he chgs you, doesn't always handle what needs to be handled, thinks it's a joke when you try to explain things, it's a profession not a job, getting to adjacent at the profession, moneys not everything. Not good at filling out forms for you at all.
