Many years ago I went to Dr. Sparaga to have my teeth straightened using braces. After two years of treatment at his office I had to spend another 2 years with a different dentist to try and repair the problems created with Dr. Sparaga's incompetent treatment. Dr. Sparaga "rabbited" my teeth and the effects of that stay with me to this day. Horrid experience!

I have never been treated worse by a professional than I have by Dr. Sparaga. He is knowledgeable in his craft but his bedside manner is horrible. He is fantastic in the beginning in selling you the need to spend thousands of dollars on his services. However, I believe you can find similar results with better treatment. His staff is unprofessional, and he is even more so. I do not recommend anybody to see him.

I was looking for an orthodontist for a while then I found Dr Sparaga. The staff are more than friendly and I felt very welcomed from my first appointment. Once I met Dr Sparaga he made sure to answer all my questions and made me feel confident with my decision to start invisalign. I am a little more than 6 months into my treatment and I couldn't be happier with my smile and experience. I wear my aligners as prescribed, 2 weeks at a time at least 22 hours a day, and I haven't had any problems with my aligners not fitting because I'm actually wearing them, imagine that!! Anyone that has been told that invisalign isn't for them please give Dr Sparaga a call first, if they can fix my smile they can fix yours!!

At first I thought that these people knew what they were doing. Now it seems like they do not care at all most recently the office staff is completely (frustratingly) inexperienced!! The one experienced person there is extremely rude. Dr. does not seem to be on point or making much sense. I wish I had gone elsewhere... I thought this was the best orthodontist in town and unfortunately that isnt the case! My bite is still off, I have to wear more aligners and had to go through everything again. Third time doing this. Do not go here for treatment you will not like te result.

Dr. Sparaga changed treatment halfway through. Very rude and condescending. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. His front desk staff were pleasant and polite.

I first met Dr. Sparaga through a free orthodontic consult at ClearSmiles. He was the 3rd ortho I had met & I cannot say more wonderful things about the ClearSmiles team. Very professional, respectful and I am continually impressed by their efforts in continuing their own education to take the best care of their clients. Dr. Sparaga and Lauren, the main tech there, sure to gain my trust AND keep it through my double jaw surgery. They were there for me every step of the way. Lauren had been through a similar surgery and has used Invisilign, so she can truly relate to your experience and give you advice that means something. When I had issues with my insurance company dropping me halfway through my case, Dr. Sparaga & Lauren just worked harder to help make my surgery happen. I will never be able to thank them enough for the quality they have added to my life. I would recommend ClearSmiles to anyone and everyone for their orthodontic care.

I first met Dr. Sparaga and staff with confidence and a happy, positive outlook. They called me a model patient as I adhered faithfully to all rules of the practice. The best part of treatment was mid-way through. Then, during the last couple of months he attached braces to 3 teeth. He also inserted titanium implants in my jawbone to intrude a molar. I had to return within a few weeks as my gums were swollen and bleeding at the tads, which were now loose. He removed the tads that day. At the end of treatment, I was left with a class II malocclusion and associated tmj problems which I did not have before. Sadly, I was rudely informed that further treatment from Dr. Sparaga would require a new treatment plan with a new cost.

It was disconcerning that the staff member who put in my top perm. retainer was later fired. It is practically on my gumline which is an annoyance and gum health issue. The overall tx plan went south when I opted for braces as Dr. Sparaga said it would speed up the process. It didn't. My TMJ had been resolved when I was part-way through with the Invisiline trays, but came back in full-force and my bite is noticeably off (even though tx is officially over). Irritatingly, I bite holes in my lip near daily. Generally the staff are nice, but the time of my tx was doubled and part of that was due to their errors: my bottom perm. retainer was put on before it should have been. So, I then had to have braces yet again during which time the TMJ returned. Thankfully, I wasn't charged for the second round of braces. Get a second opinion before opting for care via this office. You may not end up with the results you want. If you go here, stick to the Invisaline trays: braces are not their thing.

I have been seeing Dr. Sparaga and his staff for several years now since I had a more complex correction. Not only was my experience with the Invisalign product wonderful, I looked forward to my appointments. Both the doctor and his staff were consistantly friendly, personable, and helpful from day 1. Dr. Sparaga is a perfectionist, to say the least, and wants you to walk away with the most perfect smile possible. I love my smile and will miss my appointments with the team there. And, anyone who is considering orthodontic work, don't rule out Invisalign because you've been told your case is too complex (like I was). I am so happy that I was able to straighten my teeth without wearing ugly, painful braces. Great job!

Dr. Sparaga and his staff have given me a truly beautiful smile. I was never proud of my teeth and with Invisalign and the help of Clear Smiles Alaska I am able to smile my biggest without worries.
