Responsive and very communicative - my physician for over 15 years

I urged my father to leave Dr. Malta after a terrible experience with him. We are so happy to have made the change. Dr. Malta refused to return phone calls when my Dad was in the ER and I was desperate for advice as my dad lay bleeding. Good riddance.

Has foresaken his patients who could afford to pay $150.00 out of pocket per month for him to be their doctor. The fee is not covered by any insurance, it is a fee to be his patient only. He was a good doctor who was easy to schedule an appt with when you needed a doctor. Not anymore, he won't see regular patients anymore, just those that pay up front. what a shame. You can not walk in anymore. The other reviews of this doctor are obviously old!!

You can walk right in and he will help you. Appointment or not. He is the only doc in office. You can get bloodwork done there. Great.

Dr.Malta is a nice guy but he seems to be more concerned with getting you in and out so he can get to the next patient. He is a perfect example of what is wrong with our healthcare system. A good doctor that is unable or unwilling to spend quality time with each patient because he wants to bill as much as possible. He is the only doctor in the practice. I am currently looking for a new primary care physician that will at at least give me another 5 minutes of time and will offer preventative care instead of giving excuses that seem to mimic the insurance company's fine print.

Dr. Malta is very professional and very caring. You can depend on him to return calls and to listen to you. He often answers the office phone himself which makes him so very approachable. He definitely knows his patients--you never have to re-introduce yourself or your condition. I like that he doesn't "over refer" you to specialists for every little concern (my last MD did). He always gives you a summary note of his recommendations at the end of the office visit. My only complaint is that his voice is so soft and he speaks so fast that I have trouble hearing him. The office staff is competent but not warm and friendly--just business like. I've never seen the receptionist smile or heard her say "good morning". Finally generated a smile from the lab tech last week!

A truly caring professional. Takes the time with you to explain everything. Never makes you feel rushed. Front office staff great! On site blood work and a super Nurse to get the process going. Highly recommend Doc Malta.
