I really don't think this person should be a family DR.

I have been a patient of Dr Lamia Wassef for many years now since my old Dr. retired. She is not only very patient, very attentive to detail and very up to date on latest medical advances and medications. She is a amazing Dr who cares about her patients. Reception staff is amazing and never leaves you in Limbo as well.

This doctor is suppose to be my GP, but is so inaccessible I haven't been able to get a general checkup for several years and I am elderly. Her phone message recorder is out of date, the box is full so can't leave messages, and the online "chat" never replies, other than the repeated text "Can I help you". This is as of Dec 19,2022. Previous attempts over the years have also been frustrating. This is to just make an appointment. The actual appointment will be far into the future, suggests it to be on line, and has not called at the appointed time. As of now I must say I do not have a GP doctor.

Worst family doctor ever. I don't know how health department still letting he to work as a family doctor .

This is the worst family Doctor ever. All the 5 star reviews are clearly fake, especially given they are submitted on the same day and it seems they are written by an 8 year old. I don’t understand why she is still allowed to practice family medicine when her priority is Botox/fillers. This doctor is going to kill someone with her misdiagnosing and prescribing wrong medications. She honestly has no knowledge, horrific bedside manner and completely mismanaged office. Please don’t be in this field if you’re simply after money, peoples health and lives are at stake!!!!

The most woeful service you could expect in your entire life. I waited for 50days to discuss my lab result. On the date supposed to get a call from the doctor, I did not get it. they don't not call you back unless you request multiple times

As mentioned below, obtaining an appointment with her is extremely challenging and when she finally does adhere to an appointment, she does not do her assigned task. She did not prepare ahead of time for reading my results and when I asked her about how I may get more attentiveness from her during an appointment, she said appointments like mine are a waste of her time. I have a serious chronic disease so if an appointment to tell me about the severity of the scans I have done is a waste of her time, I do not know what is not.

The doctor doesn't take symptoms seriously. She doesn't listen to your explanation, she just jumps to conclusions.
Getting an in person appointment is very difficult.

She seems to be only interested in her Spa clients so if you are sick I would strongly recommend that you get another doctor. My husband had been taken off his diabetic meds for 5 weeks while in and out of the hospital. On his last discharge he was told to contact his family doctor so his sugars could be monitored and meds adjusted as necessary. ON Aug 2 we called and he was told to go to the pharmacy and they would give him more meds. Not the answer I expected. I then had another discussion with some person who spoke to the Dr. and said he needed an appointment. The appointment he received was for Sept. 29th. So no monitoring for drug adjustment for approximately 2 months. This is either malpractice or bordering on it.

she is a great doctor! Highly recommend. very quick and to the point.
