Dr Asher is a very nice man who tries to do the right thing. He treated my son for ADD for several years. I believe that there is a conflict of interest since the doctor prescribed several medications for ADD while doing research for the company that makes them. My son had several fainting-type episodesand asthma symptoms which were side effects of one med. Dr Sher said it wasn't due to the med. However, when my son went to another doctor and stopped the one med, his side effects disappeared.

Dr. Sher is a great doctor, however, the staff in his office are terrible. They have trouble communicating and understanding what the Dr. Sher wants them to do. For example, calling in prescription orders and communicating imperative information to patients.

I wasn't able to see Dr. Sher because he was busy so I saw a female doctor that seemed very inexperienced and not very thorough. The staff were horrible! We were new patients and the woman at the desk was rude and very unfriendly. I heard her yelling at a patient because they had come for shots for their son and she was making them feel bad that they didn't have that type of visit scheduled and they were insisting that thet was what they had asked for. There was another woman at the desk who was also very rude. We sat for over an hour and the nurse didn't have our paperwork and I had to ask why we hadn't been seen yet. Then to top it off the 2 staff women were just fooling around gossiping and being really unprofessional while we waited---it seems like a very unprofessional outfit. I'm definitely not going back.

I have two sons; one with asthma one without. Dr Sher has been invaluable to both, yet has treated them both with compassion. I wanted the younger one treated as if he had asthma- overprotective reaction after the troubles the first has had. Dr Sher said "No" and has taken the correct Wait and See attitude for 5 years. He was right I wrong. His extended hours are a testament to his desire to help working families obtain healthcare on our schedules. Bravo.

Dr. Sher and his staff are awesome! He takes such good care of our WHOLE family, not just my children! His new office is absolutely beautiful and the hours are so convenient, especially the after hours when my kids' symptoms usually show up! Dr. Sher is always up-to-date on all things allergy related, which gives me great confidence in all of the treatments he recommends for my highly allergic children. And as tired and busy as he usually is because he actually spends time with his patients, he's always warm and fuzzy, caring, and playful with the kids! His office staff has had a major overhaul and are professional, polished, and much more thorough, but not warm & fuzzy.
