We showed up for a scheduled appointment to find the door locked and no answer when we knocked multiple times. This was April 2024z
We had to call to reschedule, no one called with an explanation to reschedule .
This next appointment, we called ahead to make sure because I come from out of town to drive my sister, we were told she had a migraine and to call at noon to see if our afternoon appt would be honoured. WE called at noon and sure enough again the appointment was not going to happen. This was May 2024.

This so called "doctor" will not show up for an appt for my mother, myself, and my daughter. My family has suffered greatly because she's still never there, they don't even call you to say she's not there, she's had this issue of Not showing up for over 20 years, she clearly has mental issues not being addressed as you can tell by just looking at her, I call her "a hot mess" nothing more than that. She's let my 74 year old mother go on with serious breathing problems for so long it's so bad now and I have COPD and she won't send me to a pulmonologist like what???? I can't breathe and just tough luck for me😞 So long story short if you want to die go see dr Blair because she'll make sure that happens by never ever ever seeing her patients and I am shocked nobody has reported her, beware if you want your life ruined go see dr blair that's what she specializes in not showing up for work, what a doc lolol 😂

So your off sick from work and need to attend her appointment for the form necessary to return to work. Use your gas to drive there from out of town, pay for parking,…only to have her not show up? She doesn’t call you to cancel, she doesn’t call to rebook, no explanation given, and it’s up to you to call and call and call again to try and get through to make another appointment? No other doctor will fill out forms after the fact for my return to work. So now I am at her mercy. having to stalk her office in the remote possibility she may show up for paperwork. I am losing all my stat. pay and OT because the city of Ottawa requires a form only she will fill out. Worse, she gets paid a YEARLY FEE per patient instead of per visit and she has totally abused the arrangement as she is NEVER available.

So you take time away from work to attend her appointment, use your gas to drive there or bus, pay for parking,…only to have her not show up? She doesn’t call you to cancel, she doesn’t call you to rebook, no explanation given, and it’s up to you to call and call and call again to try and get through to make another appointment? Other doctors charge a no-show fee and require at least 48 hours cancellation notice. At your work, are you allowed to be on your phone to call and call and call? I’m not, and I’m a healthcare worker. People waiting at her office for appointments she booked/and she does not show up for, is not only inconsiderate to the rest of the building patrons and staff, but it is absolute negligence to her patients. Her system does not work, especially stipulating to ONLY call between 11:00 and 1:00 if you are lucky enough to get through. Many of us have called at 11:10 and the mailbox is already full.

For those of us who truly care about Dr. Blair, perhaps an investigation needs to be done to make sure she is okay by writing the CPSO: https://members.cpso.on.ca/CPSO/media/Documents/public/services/complaints/complaint-form.pdf or the CMPA. At the very least, we deserve an apology and an explanation as to if-and-when her practice will be efficiently seeing patients professionally again, as well as the status of obtaining our medical records, or help being referred to another family physician who is actually practicing!

It saddens me that I have not been contacted by Dr Blair for my medical results! Only to seek feedback as a favour from another doctor. Turns out I have CANCER! How can a doctor neglect to provide such important information to a patient? Hopefully she finds herself a replacement and someday we not find her mailbox full everyday!

This doctor should be reported!

Don't waste your time being compassionate or considerate to her, she has none for her patients!

I love Doctor Blair. I do feel frustrated when I can’t get in to see her, but knowing how much attention she gives me when I am there deters me from leaving. I’ve never had another doctor that treats me so personally, I would be scared to loose that to a new doctor that’s just part of the machine. She also is willing to think outside the box, while still using her knowledge and experience to offer the best care possible.

Been my doctor for years. Her own family member's on-going health issue created delays in the past and did impact her availability at that time. I believe that this matter is handled now. Very pro-patient doctor. Excellent listener and health advocate. Bonnie is great. There was a former nurse at the desk who job shared with Bonnie who the office is better off without - she no longer there - I think her name was Virginia.

A friend referred me to Dr. Blair when I first moved to Ottawa in 1983. She is absolutely a wonderful person and a wonderful doctor, When I was in her examining room, I always felt like I was the most important person in the world at that moment. She helped me through thick and thin, and I really love her. All that said, I had the opportunity to sign up with a new doctor a couple of years ago, I took it because I was no longer able to get in to see Dr, Blair. When they changed to same day appointments, I started using the after hour service instead - I couldn't spend the first hour of my day on the phone, hoping to get through for an appointment. Worst customer service imaginable. A great doctor that you can't get in to see is of no use. I miss her and I wish her well.
