By far the best doctor I had.I had to move to Elliot Lake and have not found a good Doctor.I am not pleased with the one I have now. Dr.Ford was a kind compassionate doctor took the time to listen to you and referred you to a specialist if necessary.Thanks for all the good years that you were my doctor.Signed S.A.

If it was not for Dr.Ford my dad would probley not be here right know. We owe a big thank you to him for catching the canser in the earliest stages and refering us to one of the other best Dr. around (Dr. Flax ) Thankyou!

His office and the front office is so overly packed that files are falling down everywhere. They couldn't find anything. I was going in for surgery for an ACL tear and he kept looking at the wrong knee and telling me I didn't need surgery. I was not comfortable with this Dr at all and when I went home and did a search on him on http://www.cpso.on.ca/Doctor_Search and found out that he plead guilty to a misconduct charge. I switched doctors to Dr. Farragos and I am SO much happier!

Great for what he is, quick prescriptions and check ups. Knows when to elevate to a specialist without guessing for too long or upon request of patient. Personable gentlement but very busy, therefore sometimes rushing, as they all are. During check ups, should check prostate on middle aged+ men without being asked, unpleasant as it may be for both parties.

I have been going to Dr. Ford for 21 years, since I was pregnant with my first child. He delivered by first and he was AMAZING! I had major problems early on in my second pregnancy and after being told by another doc that I was going to lose my baby I went back to Dr. Ford for my prenatal care until very late in the pregnancy. (by the way, our second child was born very healthy!) He has been our family doc for almost 20 years. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Jackie has a very busy office. However I find he a compassionate doctor and I feel he tries to make up for the lack of doctors taking patients in our area. He knows his patients and always has looked out for my health needs including fast referrals. He knows quite a few specialists in the area and I hope he never retires. I use him as my General Practitioner. Thank-you Dr Ford.

He performed a laproscopy on me before his hospital privileges were removed years ago. He missed fibroid tumors,endometriosis,retro-verted uterous, ovarian cysts, adhesions and blood engorged fallopian tubes. I was rushed out of town for emergency surgery when I hemorrhaged shortly after. I was so weak by then that my lung collasped and I also got pneumonia. My family was called in to say good bye after I was still comatose after the 11 day. I guess I had the will to live. Since he is no longer allowed to operate, he runs a family practice instead of being a 'ladies doctor'. This all took place in the 1980's, so maybe things have changed now. I wouldn't go back.

My family has been going to Dr.Ford for 17 years.I think he is a wonderful doctor and as far as punctuality this isn't so important to me as he spends time with patients. Even if I only take a few minutes one day I may need the extra time so I would hope people would understand.
