Dr. Ford is amazing, accomodating, understanding and extremely efficient! Love all of his previous office staff as well as his current! I travel an hour and a half each direction to recieve his care (by choice)! Don't know what myself along with y family will do once he retires as I myself have been seeing him since the day I was born (36 years)!

I've been going to Dr Ford for over 35 years. Very thorough, very caring. Never have to wait more than maybe 10 minutes. Never have a problem getting in to see him same day or at the very least next day. Wouldn't see anyone else. His secretary could be more personable, more efficient.

Dr. Ford has been our family doctor for many years and we have been overall pleased with the service and care we have received. To echo many of the other comments, the office is chaotic and overcrowded. The wait times are maddening. The main receptionist has retired and is missed! Dr. Ford takes things I stride however. I still find he is attentive, despite the number of people in the waiting room, and that he listens and genuinely cares for his patients. There are some obvious areas for improvement, but Dr. Ford himself has been great for my family.

Dr Ford has been there for myself, my children and my parents for over 30 years. I would not trust anyone else with my healthcare. Dr Ford is there at 8 am and welcomes any emergencies without questions. I have never had to wait more than 5 mins for my appoint and hardly ever that. His current staff are kind, helpful and always respectful. If someone has had a bad experience, look in the mirror, what are you projecting? My recent labs were back and reported to me within 10 days. Anyone who isn't happy can surely find another Dr in town.

Been with Dr Ford for about 7 yrs. He works very short hours. His front staff, since main receptionist retired few yrs back, is incompetent for most part. My husband went for CT scan & had to phone himself to get the results sent over to Dr Ford's office. Even though we called his office they simply kept saying "results not here yet"... Took 3 wks and a phone call from my husband. He then, afterwards, needs to see a specialist..... STILL waiting for this apt too.. My husband called the specialist himself & they said they've heard absolutely nothing from Dr Ford's office. Again, here we are another 3 wks later and nothing. He over books, the younger receptionist is beyond in the wrong profession and Dr Ford needs to retire already, because the professionalism he offers to his patients is sub par at most. If you speedy tests, test results and requisitions STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!

Dr Ford referred me for a bone scan. Due to the urgency of my issue I was surprised to find that he had gone on holiday without making arrangements for me to receive the results. The bone scan recommended a CT scan regarding an incidental finding in my head, which Dr Ford neglected to tell me. I only discovered this months later when his office sent the report to another doctor. As a result of this CT scan my case was referred to the radiology department at Mount Sinai in Toronto. A situation now which is ongoing. Fortunately for the second doctors vigilance, otherwise I might still not know of the issue that was picked up in that first bone scan. I would not go back to a doctor who cannot be bothered to read through a report properly, and consequently does not refer his patients for the treatment they have been recommended.

Friendly personality and ok for minor issues. Other than that, he has shown little interest in tracking my health problems or attempting to continue further diagnoses. Never asks how my symptoms are and has very rarely physically examined me when it would seem the prudent thing to do. This is concerning to me since I have had to suggest certain tests, of which one of them was conclusive for an illness I am now dealing with.

I have been seeing Dr. Ford for 15 years and aside from the fact that it's always busy in there, I wouldn't dream of going elsewhere! they always have time for me no matter how busy. I don't like reading about how people say they're misdiagnosed... you should ALWAYS get a second opinion, even if it's the best doctor in the world cuz there's always room for error... also, docs only read lab results, they don't make them!
