Excellent doctor! Not more needed to say. Dr.Robert Donoway will treat you like a human not just a check. I have been to many doctors offices where you feel like you're just a number. Dr.Donoway is extremely knowledgeable in treating cancer. I was lucky enough to have been referred by a friend who is now cancer free for 14 years. I too cancer free ( breast cancer survivor) for the past 8 years.

Great doctor! HORRIBLE office manager!!!!! I will not be going back to this doctor. Not only does his office manager scream at the doctor and patients but she tried scheduling my surgery at the wrong hospital. Then I had an appointment and waited over three hours to see the doctor( I do t mind waiting for a good doctor) and when I got into the room the office manager never followed up to get my results from another doctor. Which was the whole reason for the appointment. Therefore, the appointment was a complete waste of time and waste of a day. I don't really feel it appropriate for the office manager to greet patients by saying " Welcome to my nightmare". Everyone has bad days but there's no reason to tell that to someone going through cancer. I believe having a bad day as an office manger is miner compared to having cancer. In addition, when she schedules appointments or talks to patients she screams there personal information for the entire waiting room to hear! With insurance fraud and identity theft being a big issue now a days you would think there'd be a bit more discretion. It would be nice to be greeted by and treated with someone with compassion and a smile. I won't be going back to this office!!! It would be nice to feel comfortable while going through one of the worst times in my life!!

If you like to sit in the waiting room for 3 hours, then go to this office. YES, Dr. Donoway is a great surgeon, but he has the worse office manager. I will not be recommending his office due to the lack of respect and empathy she shows. Unfortunately, I do not have much of an option as I am already an established patient who needs his care until I am cleared of this cancer.

I have been a patient of Dr. Donoway since 2014. Dr. Dononway is not only knowledgeable in his field, but also extremely attentive to his patients.
I have seen many reviews regarding the wait time and staff. Waiting to see Dr. Donoway is worth it! Once you are in the room talking to him you will then understand why there is a wait. He is not the type of doctor who will quickly dismiss you, he takes his time to review your diagnosis and explain things thoroughly. If you have questions, he makes sure to answer them. As far as the staff reviews, I believe people are quick to jump to see things one sided. This is the only doctor’s office I have been to that will fax your office visit notes to your doctors before you even walk out of the office. If you need any further test, such as MRI’s or Pet Scans they will help you setting that up.
I highly recommend Dr. Donoway, he is an excellent surgeon and his staff goes above and beyond for their patients.

Dr Donoway is amazing. I highly recommend him, he is the most experienced knowledgeable surgeon in Florida people come from all over the country because of the cutting edge life saving procedures he performs. Dr Donoway is one of the most well know well respected surgeons in the area. He has saved thousand of lives

Dr Donoway is the worse doctor in his field, actually he's not a doctor, but a salesman, perfectly dressed with expensive clothes and accessories, a beautiful Office with the best forniture to impresse everyone and make patients and relatives believe he's good.
Dr Donoway has not compassion, he's completely careless about his patients, they are only a way to make money, A great number of patients to make more money possible.

I wanted to start off by saying that Dr.Donoway is very knowledgeable in his field. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him. I am writing this review to let others know what to expect when you visit his office. His new office in Hollywood is beautiful and the building it's in is as beautiful. He has employed his wife, Catherine to run the practice. She is the first one you see when you walk in. Depending on who you are or what mood she's in, you will like her or not. Reason for that statement is because her favorite thing to do is SCREAM...yes, scream! As I sat waiting for my turn to be seen (almost two hours) she (Catherine) could be heard screaming at the doctor over what seemed to be a personal matter. I would have left, if I had not already been waiting for such a long time. The screaming continued, but it was now towards the employees. I was surprised how she was not embarrassed that a room full of patients could hear everything. After spending a total of three hours in that office, I was relieved (hallelujah) to hear my test results were clear and I do not have to return to this office for another year.

Dr.Donoway, if you read your reviews, please know that your patients love you and sincerely appreciate everything you do for us. We (your patients) feel extremely uncomfortable when we are screamed at or hear Catherine scream. I am sure she runs the practice well, but she fails horribly at people skills and professionalism.

If you have Cancer Dr Donoway is the doctor to see. He is completely worth the wait. Any attacks against his fiance are obnoxious and unnecessary ,she makes the office run, she gets things done. Giving a bad rating against a phenomenal surgeon because you don't like the wait is immature at best. Any surgeon with no wait you would have to question their abilites. Dr Donoway has a wait because he is so highly recommended by doctors sign clearly says in waiting room if your unable to wait reschedule . Anyone that would badmouth the doctor abd his fiance isn't worthy to be his patient and should go somewhere else.

Dr Donoway is amazing , great bedside manner, incredible surgical skills but always a wait. Kathryn his fiance works harder than anyone i have ever seen in any office to accommodate the patients. If you were reprimanded by her for laughing, in sure you were speaking loudly on phone or disrupting the other patients

Waiting to see the Doctor was horrid and what was worse is the office manager who is also his fiancé. She is constantly screaming at the staff and at some of us in the waiting room for something as simple as laughing.

The wait may be long but Dr Donoway is WORTH THE WAIT. Dr Donoway is in surgery 3 days a week and is only in the office 2 half days. He is busy because he is the most knowledgeable surgical oncologist in Florida. I have been his patient for a very long time, and he is truely the best .
I have met patients while waiting in his loby that have flown in from Hawaii and Chicago because he does cutting edge procedures that save lives. If you have the misfortune of having a cancer diagnosis or are sent to Dr Donoway because you may have cancer know he is worth the wait. His office manager is often fighting on phone with insurance companies for patients benefit, she is amazing with the patients and she really cares, she is a true patient advocates.When you go to Dr Donoways you are not going to a regular doctor, your going to a doctor that may have to cancel his office hours and go to the hospital to perform emergency surgery. Dr Donoway saves lives, complaining about waiting is selfish. Im happy to have a amazing surgeon that takes as long with each patient as they need, fully explaining treatment options, if I have to wait so he has time to give excellent care to another patient I am ok with that . I am thankful to call him my doctor he truely is a gift from God and has used his God given abilites to help thousands of patients live a better life.
