Dr. Avakyan does one thing no internist has ever done for me on a physical. He runs all the blood tests, including the cholesterol, urine full tests, EKG, etc. He therefore can present you with the written findings and personal letter explaining the results, and also what steps you should take for remedy. He also spends time finding the best specialist for serious conditions such as cancers with referrals. He is cognizant of the side effects of some medicines based on family history and risk factors. He has done such a good job that our entire family goes to him and we can go anywhere due to great health insurance. He is on time for appointments, and always has early appointments. He will take phone calls to discuss prescriptions when sick. A very excellent internist. You won’t get a full work-up at other doctors for a physical like he does, which definitely finds the problems that are there. Very pleased.
