I was taken to the emergency dept. with chest discomfort .Dr Butler was very professional and insisted I stay with them overnight even though I thought I was fine.Next morning g after consultation he shipped me off to Saint John by ambulance.I am a day away from open heart surgery even though nothing showed up in the exam. Thanks to guys like Dr. Baxter I am able to write this..no matter what you think i am sure all health professionals do their utmost best to help us

Dr. Butler is good in some ways but not in others. Really have to push him if you are really concerned about something other wise he tries to give the situation a bandage approach. And sometimes his comments, he thinks are friendly are actually hurtful. Example: you are too young to worry about cancer....I had a younger family member fighting cancer at this time and just told him that during that visit...

By far the worst doctor I've ever had. Went in feeling like death and he tells me I have nothing to go home, went to another doctor and was treated. Awful experience

I was with Dr. Stevenson since birth and once he retired, Dr. Butler took over the practice. Totally different than Stevenson but not necessarily in a bad way. He's less small talk, more get the point but he is a busy man and has a huge amount of patients. He does care and if you ask questions he will engage. I like that he will his iPhone when necessary if he is slightly unsure about a drug or side effect etc. I never got the feeling that I was beneath him as previous people have mentioned; however we all have days. I was hesitant when Dr. Butler took over but I'm happy with him and Susan, his secretary, is wonderful.

if you're looking for unproffesionalism, arrogance, unpunctual and unhelpful then this is your guy!! guranteed to make rude comments and to be as helpful as possible, i will never for as long as i live let this man lay a hand on me or any of my family for as long as i live, i think he thinks hes above everyone else just because hes a "doctor" but let me tell you this... hes no more important in society than any of us
