I have had nothing but great encounters with Dr. Savage & have no idea where any of these negative comments are coming from?! Doctors are not perfect but she seems to be very thorough. Maybe it has something to do with her moving to Orland but I have never waited more than 15 minutes to see her. She is out of several hospitals, one being Childrens Memorial which is extremely important to me. Her staff is very helpful & polite. The only bad thing I could say is that she almost delayed a minor surgery for my child to have something else further looked at. I wish she would have done that from the beginning when I had pointed it out but it was not even a major concern to me. If I had felt it was a major concern I would have pushed the issue earlier on. She is extremely good with my child & is always soo nice.

I have known doctor Savage for as long as I can remember. She went to medical school with my mother who passed away. Doctor Savage was the pediatrician for my sisters and I while growing up and is now the pediatrician for my children and some of my family members take their children there also. To everyone that complained about her I just want to say that you have no idea how hard it has to be being a doctor. Sometimes they do have to guess at a diagnosis thats what doctors do a lot of times. And as far as her being late, well for one she is human and for two as someone else said she could be very busy with another sick child. She has gone out of her way for me and my family and is very much appreciated by me. I now go out of my way to see her since I moved, but I wouldn't see another doctor, because when Dr. Savage sees my children I know she isnt just doing her job, she actually cares for my kids and thats something I have never had with another doctor!!

I always felt she has a lot of experience to draw from and made accurate diagnoses but she once forgot to give my husband (he forgot as well) a scrip for my daughter and she wound up in the hospital as a result. I felt the staff or the doctor should've caught his error before he left because he asked if there was anything else he needed to wait for. Another time, when she moved offices, no one informed me and I drove to my appointment at the former office. Because of these two occassions, I switched doctors. She and her staff are too disorganized.

Dr. Savage has been my son's doctor for over 18 years and not once have I been displeased. She may be late but like some else mentioned she may be with a sick child. Many do not know that she has been very ill herself but through it all she is wonderful. She has made every diagnosis correct for my child and in fact he wanted to visit her when he was young for his birthday. I can say nothing bad about Doctor Savage, I love her as a family member. Her staff has never been rude to me or my child. Since my child has turned 18 he told me that he does not want changed doctors. If a child loves a doctor something must be right. I recommend this doctor to everyone that has children.

she is never on time, work hours are not convienient. Sometimes it seems like she guesses at diagnosis. Her staff is unprofessional and not very helpful and there seems to be a rotating door when it comes to her staff. Not totally happy with this doctor, nor am i totally displeased. Would prefer a different doctor, but will stick around until i do find the perfect one.

Dr. Savage is the best... she's honest, caring, and loves all the children she treats from birth until they are 18. She is the type of pediatrician you keep in the family. I reccomend every Parent with a child to take the trip to Dr.Savage's office.

What can I say, she saved my sons life. My family has been seeing her for 16 years. She takes the time to explain things and answers all of your questions in full. She has always gone above and beyond. Yes Dr.'s are human and make mistakes sometimes, although that has never been the case with her with my children. She found a very serious disease with my son, he went in for Pink Eye and she found a kidney disease. She is wonderful. And remember, if she is late, she may be taking the time with a critically ill child. She will spend as much time with a patient as necessary. She excels.

This doctor has an incredibly rude bedside manner. She never looks you in the face when speaking to you about your children. She is overly aggressive when it comes to diagnoses. When my son was four years old, now 8, he was in the hospital with rotavirus and she never ONCE came in to see him or examine him. She did everything over the phone. My son was in the hospital for four days and I thought she could make it a point to come and see her patient. Needless to say, I have switched doctors to one who is incredibly sweet, knoweledgeable, and just an overall good guy (Dr. Kevin Germino). He's the best and Dr. Savage is horrible!

I believe that this doctor is a very good doctor. I do agree that her staff is unprofessional and unhelpful, and that she is not punctual. However, my experience has been that she is a thorough (sometimes even errs on the side of caution). I have used her as a pediatrician for my first two children (now 18 and 20 yrs. old and continue to use her for my now 4 year old. She has always taken the time to explain and make sure that I understand what she is performing a test for or is very helpful if I have a question or concern. Dr. Savage is a very patient practitioner with my children and always has been. I would and do recommend her to anyone looking for a down to earth, gentle, knowledgeable, and caring physician.

She is never on time for an appoointment. I've waited over an hour with a very sick child. Her partner, when she's not available, can barley speak english. The office staff is inefective. I used her for a few years with a healthy child, just checkups and colds. Then he got very sick and ended up in the hospital. I was not happy with the care, although happy with the specialist that was recommended. I rated not very helpful because she was not available when I felt I needed answers. Her knowledge seemed to be limited to basic, basic pediatric knowledge.
