Always in a rush. Doesnt listen to my sons aliments, nor take them seriously. He has gone to her a few times with depression but after "taking the depression test" she states he's not depressed. Being in pain, creates depression too!! Very disappointed.
Makes him feel belittled and frustrated attempting to go to her for help.

She was very good. I visited her at the Walk-in clinic in Brantford. She assessed me for my concern and gave her opinion and suggested what medication to take to help me with my pain. She was so kind and thorough. I appreciate seeing a Doctor like that. I wish she could be my Doctor, but she dose’s have an office in Brantford. My current Doctor is not like this at all.

Dr. Abbott has been my doctor since first opening her practice in Burford. It is a bit of a drive to her office but always worth it. I am a nurse myself and I have to say that Dr. Abbott is one of the very best doctors that I have come across in my lifetime. She always takes the time and explains everything. She listens and follows through. Her knowledge is excellent as is her skill. She even delivered my now 25 year old. I can not say enough about how great she and her staff are.

My husband and I have been with Dr. Abbott since she started with Dr. Sproule in Burford, that's about 30 years ago. Yes, sometimes it takes a while to see her, it's because she doesn't rush her patients. She has been wonderful. We're very lucky to have her. With Covid happening now, we have had telephone appointments and she always keeps them.

I have been a patient of doctor Abbott's for 25 years. She is great! Always takes the time to listen and explain. Quick to refer to specialists or others if she's not sure of something. Very empathetic and respectful. Lucky to have her.

My family has been with Abbott for over 30 years and I do not suggest her to anyone! The staff is rude and unhelpful. Wait times are ridiculous and Abbott basically disregarded everything I've said to her. Not to mention she refused me allergy testing and said... "oh your dont need it." She had to send me to a specialist to diagnose psoriasis which she misdiagnosed multiple times... even though it's pretty common. After many years of being fed up with her I decided to switch family doctors. It has been 2 years and she just sent over my medical information now. But when she did they did not attach the password to access my charts! They have been contacted numerous times by myself, my mother, and my doctor to get the records sent over and finally 2 years later they send it with no password! Abbott was my doctor since I was born until 2 years ago and when sue expanded and renovated her practice she became a completely different doctor and person who had no care in the world for myself or my family! Extremely disappointed!

I have been with DrAbbott since her doors opened, about 21 years ago, she has been amazing and compassionate and we have gone through a lot together. I have quite a complicated medical history and so has 2 of my 4 kids. She has been there every step of the way.

My family has been with Dr. Abbott since she began practicing and we are blessed to have her. She has always been professional and very supportive in situations of extreme stress and always served us well; giving extra time, explaining things and following up. Doctors are not gods, they cannot whip up diagnoses or cures and they can't do much with noncompliance or held-back information either. There is a massive shortage of family doctors in this province and our own doctors are overloaded and burdened by the system, most do not have a "9 to 5" life and they have an enormous job of trying to care for 1000's of patients and their own families and have a life while the govt further makes cuts to the system and attacks their profession; those cuts and attacks are the biggest problem in obtaining healthcare; write your MPP's.

Has been our doctor for years, she is not thorough, has very minimal knowledge, and has shrugged symptoms for many years... Only to find out I had a very serious condition. It took her 3 years to finally refer me to a specialist after saying it was nothing so many times... Now I have ALOT of damage that could have been avoided. I DO NOT recommend this doctor.
