Dr. Plant was my doctor up until last year. I rarely saw her in my early years as a patient, but started seeing her frequently for a chronic condition. I never truly felt comfortable talking to her, probably because she's to busy staring at a computer screen making very little eye contact and rarely a physical assessment. I lost all faith in her as a health professional when she started discussing the details of my health with other members of my family during their visits. As a result, the thoughts and opinions of those family members affected her objectivity. More recently she's misdiagnosed members of my family who had conditions that other physicians claimed were "easy diagnosable based on the symptoms - page 1 stuff." I've since found another physician who's an excellent diagnostician with proper bedside manner. I implore anyone who's not happy with her seek an alternate primary care physician.

Dr. Plant does not physically assess any problem but type away while you are talking. I was left feeling like an inadequate mother when I discussed an issue about my child. Funny, coming from a woman who does not have a bedside manner and children of her own. I often leave her office with no answers and a blank stare. Not reassuring for being a person whom we look to for answers and should have confidence in. I will not cut off my nose to spite my face. Unfortunately, my family needs her and hopefully one day she may rise to the occasion

my little girl was a preemie and I love that I can call and almost always get her in that day.Dr Plant is great with my daughter as well with my husband and myself. If she feels the need she will send us for tests or to a specialist without a second thought.I recently had blood work done and she called me in to discuss the smallest matter before it became a bigger problem. I trust her totally with my family

Dr. Plant has has issues diagnosing me more than a few times. Each time I get a "spot" anywhere, she says its Folliculitis. I asked to be referred to a dermatologist because the anti-fungal cream she kept prescribing me was costly and ineffective. She said "the problem with that is you have to have a spot when you go!" DUH! I have had a reoccurring problem in the same area for about 2 years and I can almost predict the spots now. I had to eventually see another doctor, who believes I have a genetic disorder, which is not fungal or bacterial. Every time I have a spot, no matter where it is, its Folliculitis and I get the same cream from her. Shes a nice person, and I know she is "new" but that's no excuse for not looking into a medical journal to update knowledge bases on things like Hidradenitis Suppurativa, and see that not every spot near hair is "an ingrown hair" that can be treated with anti-fungal cream. I have no problem waiting any amount of time, as long as I get real help!

I have been very fortunate that Dr. Plant has taken over for the doctor before her. I was SO worried when he left because he is wonderful. Well, she has also been great. I went to her with a problem in the spring that has been recurring and had bloodwork done. when that showed nothing I was sent to two specialists (and a third for a separate problem), and now I have been diagnosed. Yes sometimes you have to wait, but this is healthcare in ONTARIO!!! I have found that the wait times for her, when there are waits, are far less than at other doctors I have seen. I now live in Kitchener, and have for over two years, and i refuse to look for another doctor in my area. Even if i live farther away she would be much worth the drive. As for the other posts, no doctor knows everything and it can be VERY difficult to get to a diagnosis if the patient isn't fully involved or cooperative. She does a damn good job as far as im concerned, and I would trust her with care of any of my family!

I called to make an appt. for physcial only (no pap as a specialist takes care of that). I guess this is unheard of because they said I could not get in until Oct. I called in Mar. Needless to say I never bothered. The last couple of times I seen the Dr. I found she did not really have time for me. I had low iron, bordering on anemia & there was not follow up.

I find the staff extremely helpful. The wait times are understandable but I find Dr. Plants knowledge to be minimul and she is very short. She doesn't take the extra time for good patient care. Questions get asked and answers are rarely given.

I am not happy with the recent treatment my family has received. She Dosen't seem to have time to properly follow up on certain health issues.I have generally lost my faith in her, and that's scary when dealing with health concerns.
