I agree with the continued use of medications until she finds one that works. She over medicated my son when he was young (gave him adult strength meds for a 4 month old - nurses at the hospital pointed this out to me when he was in for a week). She misdiagnosed a hearing loss problem which was caught at a walk-in clinic within 3 quick questions a week after she looked at me. Some people like her, I wouldn't let her look at an in-grown toe nail.

She may have an accent, but it is not hard to understand her - perhaps people need to actually take the time to listen to her & try to pay attention when she is speaking, instead of giving up as soon as she starts speaking. She is a very intelligent Doctor who actually cares about her patients and would do anything for you. To me, this is way more relevant than worrying about an accent. A different language is a beautiful thing to have in Canada - that is what makes us "us"! Let's appreciate what we have and DR. PEERIS is definitely one of them:)

Dr. Peeris is very punctual, however, that may be because she does not have a lot of patients. One has a very hard time understanding her, due to her very distinct accent. I have seen that if she does not know the cause of your problem, she will just keep trying different medications, makes one feel like a lab rat.

With her accent, I find I have to really listen closely to be sure I understand her directions and comments. She always tells you like it is ... like it or not!
