Dr Michael Woolfrey did all 5 of my knee surgeries. He is helpful and genuinely caring for your pain and what it is you are going through. He truly understands. Thank you so much for all you have done for me and my family. Even though I still have problems walking, you have done everything possible to make me better and healthy. If anyone needs an Orthopedic surgeon, Woolfrey is the best. We are lucky to have him in Brantford. To put it simply, besides his excellent surgical skills....everytime I come to see him he asks about my 3 children by name. Even though he sees hundreds of people a day, he care about each and every one!!!!!

Ok so he's never on time, but he's a helluva doc. I honestly don't think that he runs behind on purpose, I understand that he has to take emergencies as well, and I am comforted to know that should anyone I know have an emergency they would be looked after quickly. As for me what can I say other then I have seen 4 orthopods and he is the absolute best. I know my knees are trashed through no fault of his. He has given me a few more years on them (I hope anyway) before they need to be replaced. I am only 34 and knee replacement is NOT what I want and neither does he. He is doing his best to help me get as many years as possible out of my old knees. Dr. Woolfrey my daughters, my mother, my husband and ofcourse myself, we all thank you very much!!!

Dr Woolfrey has scoped my left knee for the second time and I wouldn't hesitate going to him in the future. He has been very kind and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone. Sure the wait at the facture clinic is long but well worth it. Keep in mind there is a shortage of good doctors out there and he is a very good one so lets keeps him in Brantford.

Dr. Woolfrey replaced my left hip in January of this year. This was a totally positive experience right from the pre-op visits, surgery and through the post-op visits. I never felt rushed and all questions were answered completely every time. How, when you are Chief of Orthopedic Surgery, dealing with emergencies as they arrive, dealing with people like myself asking many questions and Dr. Woolfrey himself taking the time to make sure that you have no unasked questions can all appointment times be kept? Remember that we receive this care at no cost to ourselves and waiting a little while for the care we receive is unbelievable. We are fortunate to have a surgeon of Michael Woolfrey's caliber here in Brantford and could use more physicians like him. As to the comment below about Dr. Woolfrey's secretary Nora, she has looked after every question that I have asked of her. I think that you should speak of your own experiences and not make a statement like "according to other patients".

I became one of Dr. Woolfrys patiants when he first came to town. He has replaced my right hip and has scoped both my knees twice.To me he.s the best and I would,nt go any other Doctor for my Orthopedic needs. He.s the best. He needs a new secretary though according to other patients.

very busy doctor always seems behind at fracture clinic but that's more the scheduling at fracture clinic than his fault.Exellent surgeon who really knows what he's doing. he put my leg back together after a motorcycle crash and it is straight and strong and the proper lenghth. I,m glad he was on duty the day I came in.

Have had a hip replacement and a knee scope. He is the most caring and kindest doctor I have encountered. He truly cares about his patients. Truly a blessing when you are going through a rough time. Never rushes you, even though he is busy he takes the time you need to understand everything.
