I have been a patient of Dr. Woolfreys for a few years now. I have treated with the highest respect and he has worked so hard on fixing a knee that another surgeon wrecked. For those of you who say he is pushing drugs at you,,,,,say no...he doesn't know if you need them or not...you are the one complaining of pain. Maybe you have to get your big girl or boy pants on and deal with some pain instead of taking the drugs...you only get addicted if you let yourself get there,..Stop blaming this great doctor for your weakness...try some Tylenol...may just work. Get off his case.

I am a health care professional with lots of experience in pain management
I am totaly believing the comments about Dr. Woolfrey involvements in drug addiction is not realustic
Unfortunatly we have limited options in chronic pain management which are narcoticts and one if its adverse reactions are addiction which with chronuc pain we ysualy do nothing about it unless uf the patient would like to afford pain and limit his daily activity and quit narcotics
I am always hearing excellent feedback about Dr. Woolfrey and as a colleague l know he is doing great job honestly he is the best that i came cross

Great secretary, she seems to be working very hard managing all these patients and complaints, I'm certain she does not get paid enough. She was very helpful to me. Having to wait another 3 hours to see the doctor is horrible, but he is the only option I have.

Without a doubt the best surgeon I have ever had. I was operated on 3 times before, and he fixed me up for good. I feel great. Best knee replacement I've had. With such a great surgeon, you get the usual wait times, 2-4 hours !!! For a 3 min visit!!!! I love the guy and would never talk about him, but why can't they do something about the long wait times!!!! It seems like most of the patients are coming for injections, can't they schedule them somewhere else? The only other thing that bothers me is a couple of patients just walk up to the doctor area and stand there, the doctor stops what his doing and gives them a script, I'm assuming it's for narcotics, from the previous reviews. That's also not fair and seems odd, can't they just go to the office.

Like I said earlier, great surgeon and wonderful work, but scheduling and patient management could be improved. He should hire a business management consultant.

I must be one of the lucky ones. Dr. Woolfrey has been thorough, spot on with diagnosis, sympathetic. I don't always see him for my knee injections, but one of his other doctors in the clinic know what they're doing. I have had to wait but never 3 hrs with one exception. He has injection clinics Mondays and Thursdays. Monday was a holiday so Thursday was crammed full of appointments. He has never prescribed me narcotics for pain. He is surprised I'm still walking , especially because of the arthritic damage at such a young age. He told me I need a new knee but I'm a chicken so I manage with the injections. He also does more than knees. I had about 15 x-rays done the same time I had the knee x-rays. Cervical, lumbar, hips. He saw them when he pulled up my knee x-rays. He is following through with this as well. I just got my appt. for an MRI. I trust him as a surgeon and wouldn't want anyone but him to operate on me.

I am not a person to comment on sites like this but some of the things being said about Dr. Woolfrey and his staff makes me see red, First of all if your lifes' schedule is too busy to wait for Dr Woolfey the solution is so easy..... go somewhere else and leave a spot open for the many people trying to see him. I have been a patient of Dr Woolfreys for a few years now...he is trying to fix a knee that a Dr from another hospital totally wrecked. I feel so lucky to have Dr Woolfrey and his staff and if that means a bit of a wait to see him...well so be it. I always believe the best is worth waiting for. The people with negative comments are only thinking of themselves....do you ever think how tired and worn out he and his staff must be by the end of the day and then to have people whining because they have to wait to see him....get with it people....grow up...waiting is a part of life and as I said he is worth waiting for,

most of the reviews are unrealistic, he is very dedicated surgeon, and he likes his job alot and very hard worker, his wife is seeing patients as physician not because she is his wife.
He is always rounding at his patients and talking to the family about them. hamilton is not better than him by all means.
