I went to Dr. Altman for a problem with the back of my head and after multiple short, uninvolved examinations he was unable to help me. He acted as though he didn't care that I was in pain and paid very little attention to my problem. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Operated on my 75 year old mother twice for 2 facial tumors. Used advanced Mohrs surgery where he cuts then looks at computer of skin in layers and cuts again to be sure he's not missing anything unusual. One of the few in this area doing this surgery. He was expert and very sweet to her. He called her beautiful and reassured her (and me) thorughout the whole procedure. He was very caring and instead of having her do a massive amount of surgery for both tumors at once he did the most important one and then had her come 8 months later for the other after she had recovered. Very kind and saw the big picture.
