I have never met a more rude or self important physician in my life. could not even ask the simplist questions. he acted very strange.

I went to see Dr. Trovato although, his staff was nice and the wait time was not long especially since my appointment was short notice. I went to see him for a skin rash on the back on my neck in October which he diagnosed an eczema flare up. Time went on with no progress and even worse itching than before and it started to spread everywhere. I finally went to my family doctor in January and he diagnosed me with a fungal infection which was exactly what I had and he treated me and I feel thousand times better. You would think the specialist got it right.

I had been a patient of Dr. Trovato for 6 years with Blue Cross / Blue Shield insurance. When I called to make an appointment for my yearly check back after I turned 65 and had Medicare insurance, he said he would not honor Medicare insurance. I asked him if this applied to patients who had been established with him for years. He replied "yes." I immediately changed dermatologists and have been much more pleased with my new doctor.

I see him for skin cancers. Very professional, understanding and sensitive to your needs. No scars after several have been removed from my face which says volumes for his skill and knowledge.
