This guy is a terrible human being. He'll smile as he watches u writhe in pain. I think the few good reviews he has, he posts himself. Not sure who is head of H.R. at the hospital, but they're either equally dangerous or too terrified of him to let him go. I hope he ends up on an operating table under the knife of somebody just as cruel as him. But oh... Wait. I think Jason, Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger have been killed off. Perhaps he's safe after all. Avoid this doctor if at all possible. He will torture you if he can!

I was admitted to the hospital after two unsuccessful trips to the ER for intense abdominal pain, inability to eat, etc. He was the admitting doctor, and he tried to rush us out after telling me “it’s just middleschwarts, probably a cyst popped mid cycle, that happens a lot” and after I forced the matter, saying that at 20 & with a LOT of prior reproductive pain & cysts bursting previously I could tell that this was different. He begrudgingly admitted me, without asking any of my medical information or medication requirements, leaving me to do that with a dissatisfied nurse after 12a.m. He again tried to say that it was just my endometriosis, but he fought against the laparoscopy, my mother had to force the matter again - leading to me having the procedure which proved it was NOT my endometriosis, there were NO signs of any cyst - and even if there were my pain would’ve been gone. He was then to visit me to discuss a colonoscopy, but without ever even returning to my room he discharged me from the hospital with instructions to see the OBGYN in 4 WEEKS to maybe refer back to him for the colonoscopy. My family doctor disagreed with this approach and referred me to him ASAP - it’s now been over a week with no answer, and had to call his office personally on top of my doctor’s referral to “hopefully speed things along”. Don’t even think I want him to do the colonoscopy.

I have to say that I was leery at first of Dr. Pawliwec because of things that I had read in reviews about him. I have to say that for me, NONE of it was true. Dr. Pawliwec removed both of my big toenails. He was very courteous and professional. I like that I wasn't kept waiting for my appointment or surgery times and that I could ask any questions that I had. Both of my toes have healed up nicely. I would definitely recommend Dr. Pawliwec. The staff there was very nice.

I had surgery in December and at my follow up appointment I told him about extremely painful symptoms I was having and he told me that if it wasn’t better in a few months to call back and he will investigate it. 4 months later I did what he told me to do and after waiting an hour to see him and trying to explain what was wrong he was very abrupt and condescending, telling me to talk to my doctor and that he was a “surgeon”. He wouldn’t let me talk at all to explain anything and he rushed me out of the office, making me feel stupid and embarrassed. No one deserves to be treated like that, I definitely will go to someone else if I ever need surgery again.

Reception over books the doctor in the office as well as the hospital, and only fills out half of the documents on what to do to prep even though they are more or less fill in the blanks.
I have been to his office 5 times and had the shortest wait being 1.5 hours, his waiting room is not large enough so I ended up in the hallway sitting on the floor 3 of those times. To go in for approximately 5 minutes with him, he is direct and to the point which is fine. But he rushes you out and doesn't allow for questions, and if you ask them he almost talks down to you and told me to google it!
At the hospital I was booked for a 9 am appointment, I almost passed out at 10:15 in the waiting room after getting the intravenous needle put in. So I was put on a stretcher and brought into the recovery area near the nurse station. At almost 11 am they gave me intravenous as I was very week and told me I was next in. The nurse that kept checking on me was so upset by 11:30 I could here her getting angry that he was booked for every 15 minutes when it should be at minimum every 30 minutes. When I was rolled into the room it was 11:45 and I never even saw the doctor before being put under for the scope. Follow up I was told there was nothing wrong with my throat and I needed to get over it.
I followed up with Dr Downie about a year later, I could not believe the difference in events, hardly sat in the waiting room, saw and spoke to the Dr with a review of what he was going to do. I did have an issue and being treated now!
