Dr. Jenny Hyppolite is an excellent, competent, professional doctor. I have been her patient for more than ten years and have never waited for more than a few minutes to be shown to an office and begin treatment. She is a very good listener and health provider, as she follows through on my issues consistently with the help of her friendly, capable staff., I would not hesitate to recommend her and her staff to anyone looking for a great internist and geriatrician! She is unprofessional, rude, and has a big ego!
I came to her a year ago for a specific health concern. Although, I give her credit for trying twice to refer me to specialists. Sadly, both attempts failed due to prerequisite testings that I didn’t meet. Nonetheless, she refused to put extra effort to dig and figure out what was wrong with me. Her attitude was “if other doctors can’t figure it out then don’t expect me to be able to!”. On my second appointment she basically stated that I had scheduled a 15 min appointment. But if I needed an hour appointment, she could accommodate me with one. That was after I tried to express my health issues in details. On my last appointment, which was a zoom appointment, after I expressed my frustration that my number one reason for seeing her was not resolved after a year. after stressing of having this issue for years and had seen other doctors who were unwilling and unsuccessful…. she literally stood up from her chair and walked away. All of this frustration was due to me requesting to have my vitamins and minerals checked as part of my annual checkup. Which previous primary care have done so in the past. She refused. She also didn’t offer other solutions. Or at minimum research why I was having chronic symptoms. She will do the basic work but is not passionate enough to do deeper research to find the root cause of a health problem. She is not a leader in her field. She’ll say “well if other doctors can’t find a solution then I won’t either!”. She just regurgitates information and block suggestions. I do not recommend anyone who is dealing with undiagnosed chronic symptoms. Don’t waste your time! She won’t bother with you! However she’ll enjoy charging your health insurance. She is very well educated and strategic about how to ensure she gets paid. Imagine if she actually was passionate about her patients and their health how much more she would get paid! And the referrals that would come her way! Sad. Stay away!

She seems to be a better typist than doctor. Do not disagree with her, she’ll post inappropriate comments about you.

Found this Dr. very cold and condescending. No personal interaction and was very abrupt with any issues. She is very distant for the whole visit, I felt as if she was bothered being there. This lack of warmth does nothing to instill confidence in her. Better off going to a walk in clinic

Worst primary care doctor I have ever seen. Obsessed with getting HIV tests on everyone yet ignores more important tests like prostate. Zero personality she works from a checklist then you are out the door. Her medical assistant is worse, pointing and grunting at the scales. No greeting. Would not give me my weight from my LSU visit, claiming it was not available to her.

I have gone to her three times to see if my interaction with her would improve. She is disinterested listening to the patient. She does not make any contact. She types on the computer the whole time while asking you questions. I could go on with what is wrong about her as a doctor, but I will just leave it to the individual to make up their own opinion.
