I am on the Autism Spectrum. I made this clear to all office staff and the doctor prior to my first appointment. In no way were my accomodation requests honored. Even with an official diagnosis, the doctor, unqualified to say so, wrote in my record that I "likely" was on the Autism Spectrum. I paid $1800 to a testing specialist doctor, and went to three appointments for that diagnonis to be confirmed, only to have my new doctor brush it off.
He shouldn't get to choose what he wants to pay attention to. He needs to learn to be a listener, because I did not experience being heard at all.
