Wonderful doctor. I've been seeing her for 13 years. She is kind and caring and takes the time to get to know you. When she moved from Providence to E.G. I continued the drive to stay as her patient. Very satisfied.

Dr. Chofay is an exceptional doctor. She does not rush your appointment and is very kind, compassionate and understanding. She may only work a few days a week, but she gives 100% when she is with you! Everyone has a bad day once in awhile, but I have never seen her without a smile and ready to rush me out of the office!

Dr. Chofay seems very knowledgeable and is always willing to refer to another provider if she needs more/specialized information and patient needs more specialized care. She orders lab tests and diagnostic procedures prudently. Other MD's in office willing and qualified to cover her patients when she is not available. She occasionally seems to dominate office visit with her speak, but perhaps it is her way of offering the patient as much info as possible. Patient needs to be assertive and confirm that MD understands patient concerns. VERY personable with great 'bedside manner'. She truly does allow patient to actively participate in her medical care. Office staff/front desk personnel need to practice their "people skills" (especially when office is very busy) ... and most of all, be cognizant of patient confidentiality!! Remember HIPPA?

Dr. Chofay is an excellent and very thorough physician. She always makes an effort to call me at home and personally check on me. I love the fact that she works 2 days per week--shows she knows how to prioritize--family comes first.

Dr. Chofay is very knowledgeable and personable. Sometimes she speaks so loud and incessantly that it's hard for me to inject my thoughts and questions into the 'conversation'. It helps to have a 'list' of things I want to say.... then she pays attention. She is thorough and allows me to participate in my own treatment. It is difficult to get an appointment because she is so good! However, at times I have been in the office and observed that office receptionist does not always protect confidentiality of other patients. With the HIPPA regulations, more care should be taken to keep patient information less public.

Extremely helpful and very detailed. Answers questions and asks if I have more. Nice bedside manner and as a person of color (me) I find her very warm.

Dr. Chofay has been a real partner in my health. I feel comfortable in her office, and never do I find her controlling as the previous post said. She is kind, and friendly, and her staff are warm and helpful. I also find it refreshing she returns calls personally, and checks on me if I have been unwell. The office is well run and the other physicians in the group that I have seen are similar. I feel I have found a partner to help me help myself.

Dr. Chofay is a nice woman, however she is somewhat controlling and opinionated which made me uncomfortable. When I talk to her I do not feel that I can speak freely and honestly. She is not particularly friendly and outgoing. She is always late to see her patients unless the office is deserted and she rushes the appointments, trying to get you in and out fast. She only works two or three days a week, making it very difficult to get an appointment. She is also meek and rather homily. She is knowledgeable, however I have found other physicians just as qualified and much more approachable and outgoing.
