There is a revolving door policy for drug companies. I had been there approx. 4 times and EACH time he had or was on the phone with a drug company. He also tries to get you on their product or sell his own crap brand of vitamins. If you want someone to TELL you you are getting the best care, go to him. If you WANT the best care, you may want to look elsewhere.

Dr. Vagnini is a knowledable doctor, but has a horrible personality. He is arrogant and gets angry all the time. He seems like all he cares about is money, and runs an assembly line making patients wait hours. He argues if you disagree with him, and is dictatorial and is not representative of what medical doctors should be - compassionate with their patients. The staff works as best they can, but defend the doctor's behavior, so that is a minus.

Dr. Vagnini is one of the finest physicians in the New York area. A previous reviewer called him an alarmist...sure, he is...and this is exactly what I want in a doctor. He leaves no stones unturned and completes a thorough analysis of all his patients (my family members also see Dr. V). On appt. day, you have to wait, but the benefit of his expertise far outweighs any cost of waiting . I appreciate the fact that he listens carefully and responds thoroughly to your concerns. Part of the reason for the long wait is that he just doesn't tell you what to do, he teaches you. This is a quality that appears to be rapidly vanishing among physicians today. Yes, he sells supplements, but I have NEVER felt pressured to buy them. I did, however, purchase several of his special formulations because I felt that they would be a great value to my overall health plan. The bottom line is that after following Dr. V's suggestions, I have much more energy and feel about 20 years younger. Thanks, Dr. V!
