The staff are insensitive & cold. I recently requested a prescription refill for one that had expired & Dr. Diamond's receptionist insisted I make an appt. I explained this is a maintenance drug that I need. She once again insisted that I need to make an appt. I tried to explain that the doctor would need blood work which would force me to go to Lab Corp which refuses to take blood unless I pay bills that I cannot afford. In a fit of emotion I stated "should I commit suicide?" She said "that's fine"

This man was part of a team that examined and treated me for a prostate tumor a few years ago, the concept was to get all options and make a decision as to how to best treat my particular case, ie: surgery or radiation and chemical therapy. We found him to be very rude and "very full of himself." I made my treatment decision baased mainly on the fact that he did not answer questions with sinceritty and he certainly did not instill me with any feeling of confidence. On my first visit, he refused to see me because my GP had forgotten to include his name on the referal and he refused to wait while I phoned my GP for the additional name to be faxed to his office.I felt rushed.Because of my experience with him, I may have made the wrong treatment decision however,I have studied various postate treatments and I have helped inform several friends about the seriousness of their treatment options. My advice to anyone seeking treatment advice is to get a diagnosis and then get a second opinion

My husband was seen for kidney stones, after two surgerys Dr. Diamond still couldnt "find" the kidney stone and wanted to send my husband home (who was still in pain) and have him come back the following week for a 3rd surgery. We fired him and hired another urologist who did the same surgery and found and removed the stone with NO PROBLEM. We were told that since Dr. Diamond was able to put a stent in my husband both times that there is no reason why he shouldnt have seen the stone. I think he was just trying to make money off of us. In fact ,he charged us for lipsotripsy (which means stone crushing) and I called to dispute this charge saying he couldnt crush the stone if he couldnt FIND it, they removed that charge and hopefully we will never deal with this doctor again. Please beware of him. There is more bad things I could tell you but there isnt enough room to type it all.
