Love, love Dr. Tysch - Great with my kids, available day and night. She is honest, so if you are looking for a weak doctor that will tell you what you want to hear - look elsewhere! She puts the health of your child first.

Don't go here if you are HMO!!! Dr. Tysch doesn't support her HMO and criticizes them and makes us patients feel bad and low class for even having an HMO. Which to me, is odd, since she herself is an HMO provider. If it wasn't for her staff, and the front office woman who does the referrals to the specialists, I am not sure sure I would continue to go here.

I agree with the other posts... Dr. Tysch tends to be an alarmist and is somewhat of a know-it-all. She surely cares for her patients however if I'm there to see her for one child and she glances at something on the other, we get charged for two office visits. It's rediculous! I myself administered an oral vaccine to my baby once and they still charged me for the admin of the "shot". Jessica who has been there for a few years is terribly abrupt and rude. I am a believer in the importance of immunizations and flu shots so was glad Dr. Tysch had knowledge of additional shots that would help protect my kids. Dr. Tysch will research to be prepared for any special condition your child has which is why I chose her in the first place. However the rudeness of the staff combined with the "money, money, money" mentality of the office has become more than I will tolerate. Definitely a one way street over there - you might wait 30-60 min to get in but don't expect same courtesy in return.

I did not have a great experience here. I felt that she was rather bossy and abrasive with me and took the attitude of a know it all. I also felt criticized for the way I parent my child. I wont be going back--there are many other, nicer docs around, fortunately.

Dr. Tysch is the best doctor my boys have had in California. She found my son had asthma,and that my other son has bad allergies. She has always told me to call her anytime I needed.(weekends,nights, anytime) We had to move and was very sad to leave. Her staff is excellent! Always on time. She knows and remembers who your family is. Excellent doctor! Very caring. You have the same nurses! There are only two. The office is very kid friendly. My boys loved her. They get s sucker and toy after every visit. I would reccomend her to anyone!

Dr.Sherri Tysch is ok - I probably will not go back with my 2 sons and a daughter. I felt Dr. Tysch pushed flu shots on my family for no specific reason (we did NOT end up getting them). My kids have no health problems and are ages 3 years through 10 years and I did not see any reason to get them for the kids, but I felt that Dr. Tysch were "selling" them. I also didn't like it when Dr. Tysch said to me that my insurance wasn't good because it was HMO. I love my insurance and I am glad there are other HMO pediatricians to choose from!

Dr. Tysch showed time and time again that she wanted my money more than she wanted to help my children. After checking my daughters small rash I mentioned that my 8 month old (sitting in my lap at the time) had a bump that looked similar to the rash on her sister. Dr. Tysch walked over, glanced at her neck where the bump was, advised me to put neosporin on the bump and come back if it gets any worse and then charged me for two visits! How money grubbing can you get? She refused to give any advice over the phone, said I needed to come in for every question I had, and when I told her sec. I had an emergency i needed to talk to the dr about, dr tysch called me back and the first thing she said after I described my daughters problem was that she was bothered that i told her sec. it was an emergency because there are others that have REAL emergencies. She misdiagnosed my daughters condition twice costing me over 500$ in med costs. I have more but unfortunately there isnt enough space.

She is wonderful!! She has even met us on a Sunday when my son was really sick. She bends over backwards for her patients.

Dr. Tysch is just the best pediatrician. We have seen her for years and followed her when she opened her new practice. When another doctor failed to detect the purpose of a rash with our son, she was very proactive and thorough. We went through a battery of tests with him and thankfully it wasn't a rare heart condition, but all the signs were there and it was a scary time. She has a great bedside manner and trusts the parents' instincts as well as her own. There is a true partnership in the relatioship. We love her!

Dr. Sherri Tysch was one of two Dr.'s that I had to decide between. I chose Dr. Tysch because she was a female and thought my daughters would like her. She scared my daughter by telling me, in front of all 3 girls, that I was putting my own children in danger because I did not vaccinate them against the flu! Yikes! Needless to say, we will not be returning to this office. She is just too uncaring for a pediatrician, I think. I am going to make the switch to a different Dr!
