I've been waiting for months to have her receptionist call my doctor's office back to set an appointment for me. The last time I saw her a few years back, I had made a list of all my symptoms and asked her to take a look at the paper, she refused. I found her to not care about her patients at all. She must be in the profession for the money.

My family Dr. sent me to Dr. Liu at her Burlington office due to overall pain. Dr. Liu told me the medical profession did a poor job helping people manage pain while she typed into a computer. She thought my pain was osteoarthritis but sent me for a bone scan to rule out anything major. I left a message to follow up on my results. I never got a call back so I thought all was o.k. My follow up appt. was set for 6 months later & when I arrived, I discovered that Dr. Liu had closed her Burlington practise. No one called to cancel my appt. & the receptionist who was still there working with another Dr. said she was tired of making excuses for Dr. Liu. I called Dr. Liu's Mississauga office & left several messages but no one called me back. My family Dr., Nancy Ku, could have cared less when I told her. The scan did show a sclerotic lesion but I was not told about this until it showed up in another CT scan & x-ray I had due to blood clots. I would never ever recommend Dr. Liu - ever!!

I agree with the last 2 comments...I had come to her due to many many months of pain and all she did was type on her computer. She did diagnose me corectly, but did nothing more than that. Sad.

I did not find her very personable, although she did diagnose me correctly, but all she did was ask me questions and type on the computer the whole time I was there. She definitely does not have a pleasant bedside manner and hardly spoke to me, except to ask questions. After her diagnosis, I got more help from my family doctor than I did from her. I'm sure she is a very competent rheumatologist, but I shall not return. I have never been to another specialist who acted this way.

I felt she was not very personable. she was writing the whole time I was there. She did not talk to me about my problem very much. However she was a nice lady.

Not too impressed, I have no further awareness of my problem now than I had prior to my visit. She spent absolutely no time talking to me, or asking me any questions regarding my problem. I feel she could be more hands on and personal, and make the patient feel that she is important. The computer work could wait until after the visit. It is difficult to score the knowledgeable section of this rating, she could be a 10+ but I do not know that.
