My father was her patient until she dropped him for getting a second opinion. She has an answering machine-not a service-and may or may not call you back in an emergency. Her family runs her office-in a basement of a house with street parking only.In bad weather, elderly patients must walk up the driveway on ice, then descend dimly lit basement stairs to a converted "rec-room".When dad had bypass surgery she only visited him when his family was not around, as she knew we wanted to speak to her.Dad said the dr. was well liked when he asked about her at the hospital, but social behavior and professional conduct are two separate things. I finally have him with an excellent physician, Dr. George Narby and am relieved he will be obtaining the best possible care.Dr. Lang needs to remember the oath taken and forget about personal matters, opinions and hurt feelings of false betrayal. It is every patient's right to seek alternate opinions and shameful to ignore the elderly when they need help.
