I do not at all agree with any neg reviews. I have been seeing Dr Solazzo for awhile now. He has NEVER dismissed ANY of my concerns. Has referred me to specialists, has been more than understanding . I never feel rushed, and he’s always willing to explain anything. I have actually got my Mother (who’s an RN), my brother and Husband to switch to them. They all love him as well. He is also very knowledgeable . This Dr deserves 10 stars!.

Because he repeatedly REFUSED to authorize an MRI or CAT for my back; by the time I found another doctor and got the scan, I suffered permanent nerve damage.

During the torturous months when I BEGGED him to authorize the scan; he actually told me :
“I will give you a prescription for anything you want for your pain. - but you’re NOT getting a scan from me!”
I replied, Dr. I am not interested in becoming an addict - I need to know WHAT IS WRONG with my back so I can get it FIXED!!”

I developed Trengeller’s(sp) Gait. I luckily got into an orthopedic doctor who got me the scan. I needed a complex lumbar fusion - and got one ASAP!

Needless to say, I found a new primary doctor!

However, just like someone else said; I too, was UNABLE to obtain my medical records from Dr. Solazzo and have them transferred to my new doctor!!

After 2 years of MULTIPLE attempts, I finally got my records transferred. - and even my doctor couldn’t make sense of them!!

BTW, do you know the statute of limitations for suing for Medical Malpractice in NYS is 2 years??

Coincidence that I was unable to get hold of my records until AFTER 2 years??
You be the judge. I know God certainly will.

Absolute worst doctor ever. Should have medical license removed before someone dies from his many mistakes

I have been going to Dr. Solazzo for over twenty years during which I have had a difficult health history. Due to his attentiveness, knowledge and diagnostic skills, I am still alive. I cannot recommend him more highly.

Good doc. Never had any problems with him, he has helped me through a few diagnoses and referred me to specialists when needed. No complaints here.

Wow, couldn't disagree more with the negative ratings previously posted. Dr. Solazzo doesn't run a "patient mill", seeing 50 patients a day. I have several major health issues and I don't have now/nor have i ever had a doctor that has spent as much time listening as does Dr. Solazzo. He takes as much time as is necessary to understand what is really going on, during my appointments. It's wonderful in "today's world" to have a doctor that still cares more about his patients, than he does about running a business.

Went in for having stool in blood many years ago and listened to his "it's fine" diagnosis. I was told it would go away on it's own. I recently moved to a new location and went to a proper Gastroenterologist who revised my nutrition plan and subsequently cleared up ALL my symptoms. Basically, it would not "just go away." Since moving, it has been impossible to forward my medical records from his office to my new doctor. It got to a point where my new doctor just ordered a blood sample to find all prior immunization. That is ridiculous.
