I realized that Dr. Boutrouille was defining me in terms of a diagnosis in her effort to get me to view myself as sick. Furthermore, more self-disclosure about my problematic issues gave her ample opportunities to judge me. She is not good!

Still relying on the outdated and proven unsuccessful disease model of addiction this Dr. spent more time telling me how underpaid she is than providing a detailed intake. The entire staff has a condescending attitude almost as if they want you to feel bad or maybe they feel bad about themselves. For me a waste of 2 hours and $1,000.00 "intake evaluation" Don't say you weren't warned when you leave feeling worse than you arrived.

I've been seeing Dr. B for several years and have found her to be receptive and open to my changing needs. I would not go to another doctor under any circumstances. Her office does have a new office manager and Ian is great. Dr. B is French, so some people may not be able to relate to her, but I have referred several friends and we are all steady patients who adore her.

I made an appointment and the staff would not take my insurance over the phone. After waiting 45 minutes they told me that they were not a LifeSync provider. I walked out VERY angry and called my insurance carrier. They ARE a provider. My suggetion was that they take the info prior to the appointment....they DR said they don't do that. NOT VERY WISE!! When you are dealing with people that need mental health help, you need to make things a little easier. The girl in the front office is not very friendly and definately NOT knowledgeable. They all need to get a clue

If you need help, don't go to this dr. I waited 2 hours for an appointment today and the other times have been no better. If you need to call the office, good luck. They don't answer the phone if they don't feel like it, and I've never gotten calls back after I've left messages. If you need a refill, you have to call another #, leave a message, and just pray that they ever check those messages. And the other reviewer is correct, she IS condescending.

I have used the services of this doctor for several years. She is extremely compassionate and helpful during times of need. She places her own needs, oftentimes, after the needs of her patients. Due to the fact that she tries to really attend to her patient's needs, she is, sometimes, late for appointments. I can tell you, she is worth waiting for. I know a good doctor when I see one...my father was a physician and I know their career can be pretty draining at times. If you desire a doctor to care for you that shows it from the heart, this female physician is, defintely, the one for you. She also "knows her stuff" and prescribes the right medications. You can count on her to be there for you. She is extremely supportive of your recovery from your illness. This physician's care has helped me maintain my employment and relationships with others in a positive fashion.
