Went in for routine blood work and he suspended my license for "suspected seizure activity". I've never had a seizure. Neurologist said he was on a power trip and nothing is wrong with me.

He is direct and to the point, doesn't waste yours or his time. Very little waiting in his lobby when you book a morning appointment.

One of the earlier comments is exactly my experience.
He is always late for appointments, hours late I watched an entire movie on my phone between the time I got in and he saw me.
I think at least 3 times he has eaten subway during my exam.
He once came into the room while speaking with a contractor working on brickwork at his mom's house or something like that.
Every time I see him he rushes me out it's like he only has time for one issue I need yearly prescriptions for physio and massage
He does my physical ( not fully) and is out the door before I can ask for the scripts.
At times when he is not rushed he can be very helpful however this is a rare occasion.
He is a walk in machine not a constant family doctor.

Anyone looking for bedside manner, not your clinic. Been seeing drH for years. Only go when I need to. Waits are long due to him always on the phone for personal issues. Could hear him talking on the phone to contractor about his deck while I waited 30 mins (everyone hears everything in this place). I waited once as he helped himself to his staff’s lunch (what a douche). Anyway, he’s a medical prostitue, will write up whatever you ask for which is fine by me cause I don’t need much more from this guy. He’s one of the highest billing gps in the province and the way he runs clinic shows, like cows trough. Also, obvious that perfect reviews are fake.

I recently found a new doctor, because I couldn't get an allergist referral from Dr. Hashmi for over 8 years. I waited 8 months with my new doctor, during the pandemic, just to give you a picture on what normal medical care looks like from a real professional. His office has been investigated before over the conduct of other doctors, and quite honestly Hashmi should be as well.

Have been a patient of Dr. Hashmi for over a decade. See him only once or twice a year. Front staff is very rude, make you feel like you are wasting their time. Dr. Hashmi always has a nurse now, who will see you first. After that you answer the same questions for a second time from Dr. Hashmi. He is always quick to write prescriptions, and usually at the highest possible dose. He never seems to have looked at your chart before talking you. Very unprofessional. Phone appointments pretty much the same, nurse calls first, then the doctor. Last time they made me wait for almost 2 hours for the doctor to call call.

Honestly this doctor always knows what the diagnosis is each time I come in and gives me the right advice and medication if necessary. He listens to me and doesnt make me feel like an idiot. Whenever I do have to make medication he checks in and I've never had a medication he's subscribed not work. He's very knowledgeable and caring. My whole family sees him and we're very confident that he's the best.

Strange how dramatically extreme the reviews are on here, it's either all 5/5 or really poor. Makes you wonder how truthful those 5/5's are?

So done with this guy, I can totally relate to all the bad reviews on here as they have been my experience with him exactly. He's been my doctor for over a decade now and a decade too long as far as I'm concerned. I leave there every single time feeling rushed and dismissed, but he is always quick to hand out a prescription. Clearly his goal is to have as many patients in and out of his exam rooms as quickly as possible. I would not recommend him to anyone I care about.
