Dr. Cortez has been taking care of my 9-year old and 6-year old since birth. He is patient, thorough and has an excellent bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone!

Love love love Dr. Cortez. He was very nice, listened and did not discourage me or talk down to me when I explained that I wanted to delay vaccines for my son. We moved and I was super sad to have to leave his office. Great peditrician!!!!!

I love Dr. Cortez! He has seen my 3 children for years and he is wonderful. He is so caring, gentle and compassionate, and as others have said here, he really talks to the kids. I wish I had his calm demeanor at all times-when he walks in the room everyone just feels better. He is fantastic! And he always makes himself available via cell phone as well.

My twin boys have been seen by Dr. Cortez in his Concord office since birth in 7/03, they were 8 week premies. He meet me in the hospital the check on them. And as crazy as I was when they first came home, was extremly patient with my numerous phone calls. Over the last 6 years they have been pretty sick a couple of times. He has always been right there, either by phone, in the office or willing to meet me in the ER on Saturday afternoon. I have moved to West COunty, but would never dream of changing doctors. I recommend him to everyone I see that is pregnant.

Dr. Cortez is very much a kid person, he does not talk down to them. I have three children and he makes time to ask about their day and puts them at ease.

Dr. Cortez sees my 3 year old son and my 21 month old baby. He is always caring, calm and gentle with them, he speaks TO them, doesn't act as if they're not in the room like a lot of pediatricians tend to do. He offers his cell phone number and is prompt to return calls himself. His voice and demeanor are very soothing to the children, especially when they are sick. The thing that impressed me the most though was when my son had a fever of 104.7 last week and I called his cell phone. It was turned off but the message actually gave his home phone number! I called him at home, he answered immediately and gave me instructions on how to handle things. The BEST doctor! I would HIGHLY recommend him!
