I had a tooth that had been giving me problems for years and felt that my dentist could be trusted to fix it properly. After having had root canal, root canal therapy & then the tooth broke yet again after a few years, I simply thought that the best thing was to have it removed but he didn't. He had me go through the same process again and do another crown to the same tooth and it still bothers me! Bad judgement on what needs to be done if you ask me. He was friendly.

There is good reason he is the worst dentist rated on this website. I was a long time patient of Dr Allen I always found him rude but never had any major problems so I kept going. Well went in for a simple filling and he TORTURED me! Held my head back into the chair focibly well he was jamming the needle into my nerve. I am a grown woman and I was crying/yelling in pain. After jamming me multiple times and never successfully freezing me, the appt was over. He never appologized. Since he not only hit the nerve, but injected freezing into it the left side of my face has been frozen and tingling for a month now.An absolutely****ndous experience.

Left me sitting in the chair for a long time while he ran to take personal phone calls. Didn't like the fact that he froze my mouth without any numbing jelly and that he put his hands in my mouth to freeze me without gloves. Put gloves on after he froze me but kept the same gloves on each time he left to get the phone and came back. Nice enough but I really wish he would wear gloves and change them all the time when he leaves and comes back. Really grossed me out.

A frightening multi-tasker - clearing out a cavity while talking on the phone and selling his cottage property. As a result he botched the filling and upset my nerve. I subsequently developed an infection and went elsewhere for a root canal on that tooth. He should not be practising Dentistry.

I could not get over the fact that he examined my mouth without gloves on. As soon as I got off my parents' dental plans I stopped seeing him. Before that I saw him for years, with an array of issues, and almost every experience was painful and difficult. With my new dentist I now realize this doesn't have to be the case!

I have been going to Dr.Allen for me entire life and he has been great! Extremely nice man who cracks jokes to ease nervousness. Only complaint would be that he sticks his fingers in my mouth with no gloves. But besides that, AWESOME! Highly recommended.

i went to see him to get my wisdom teeth pulled and a cleaning if was very friendly and assuring me everything would be ok and work out just fine even though i was terified to have my wisdom teeth pulled. i got both on the right side done it was over in 30 seconds!! and no pain!

The lack of wearing a mask,rubber gloves for the majority of procedures, and not visibly washing his hands seems to be a continuing issue with this dentist, and resulted in my not returning for any further dental work. Some of his recommended procedures were also in question.

three out of four proceedures failed. one was a flap surgery to repair a failed root canal. it failed the tooth had to be pulled after a crown and surgery. another root canal and crown failed when the root cracked. i told him the crown felt high and he said it would settle in. result tooth pulled. the third root canal and crown also high, also a cracked root and another tooth pulled after spending 1200.00. i would not recommend him to anyone. he should not be practicing dentistry. i lost three teeth and a lot of $$$$ because of him. one crown still okay.

Dr. Allen is amazing. A friend heard about how great he is with people with phobia's and went to him. Shortly after I also started going with my children. That was over 20 years ago! Well done, Les! Staff also have gone beyond the norm to make my children and I comfortable. I tell everyone I know that is looking for a dentist about this wonderful office!
