I’m a caregiver accompanying my sister in law. This doctor is not only knowledgeable but caring and has no issues with the patient having a caregiver participate in the consultations. The whole journey is full of unexpected events and symptoms. It was hard to navigate this new world. We certainly appreciate the fact that he shows empathy towards the patient. One factor that is difficult to comprehend is the role each member of the medical team plays. Once we understood that, it was manageable.

I'm 82 years old and met a lot of Dr's in mylife. During my chemotherapy I had a 5 Dr team which included you, Dr. Malcolm Brigden. When I completed my treatments you were very concerned with my health, calling me to ensure I was well and improving. For your care and concern thru my care and after, I am very thankful for you, your care and your concern and of course recommend your care to anyone needing you.

I saw this doctor for my bowel cancer. He was well organized and on time. The staff in the clinic seemed to follow up and know what was going on. He was the first doctor who actually talked to me about cancer prevention including vitamin D, the Mediterranean diet and regular exercise program. He made sure at the end of my treatment that I understood the follow-up program and that it was a place. Certainly Sudbury is very lucky to have him and I hope he stays

I had a 3 year + history of endema incidents including two near death experiences. Whilst other medical professionals were trying to sort out the cause - Dr Brigden quickly identified a therapy that no one else had suggested - and which had immediate effect and has ended the endema incidents - which has meant I have got my daily lije back. Dr Brigden is a very knolwegabel and affable oncologist and I am immensly grateful that my immuologist referred me to him!

I spent a lot of time with a cousin who was a patient of Dr. Malcolm Brigden. This doctor besides his knowledge, he gives hope to his patients and makes them feel better while on treatment.

Dr. Brigden was a great doctor. He was with me throughout my care and answered not only my questions but all my families questions. He would be the only oncologist I would want to see. Dr. Brigden is an awesome and excellent Dr. He looked after and cared for me while I'm undergoing my treatments for Breast Cancer. He was very knowledgable and explains well to the patients. He was so professional, kind and helpful. I highly recommend him to everyone! 👍😊

A good doc who is there when you need him.He took the trouble to call us personally at home on at least 2 occasions.He also made certain that palliative care and home care were involved with my wife right from the beginning and did not discourage from seeing our naturopath. Although the final outcome was not what we had hoped for,overall we received good care

A good Doctor who has been looking after my prostate cancer for over 3 years. He is very punctual but does not stay around to chat if you are not having any problems. On the other hand, if you have questions or require more time, he certainly is available. The nurses in this cancer clinic are really incredible and the social worker was very helpful when we had to organize a special test in Calgary. It is a shame that we have to wait over two hours sometimes to get our medicine from the pharmacy.
