He's a kind and caring physician, but his staff is horrible. No one ever answers the phone nor do they call you back. I waited 2 days for a pregnancy test result before following up. I got a rude call from the nurse stating that I didn't give it enough time. They never called me back with the results. I finally had to write a letter and leave it on the doctor's car outlining my issues with the situation and staff. I asked him to call me and instead I got the lab results mailed to me with no note or anything. VERY SAD. Time for a new doc.

He was very helpful but reluctant to perscribe drugs...recommended vitimins instead. I also referred me to a specialist for a colonoscopy but no one ever called with the results. Finally had to change physicians.

I loved Dr. Hathcock. He is an excellent listener and things outside the box. For instance, when I had back/neck problems, he suggested using a special pillow ('Bucky') that has changed my life. I stopped going to Dr. Hathcock I got very sick of playing phone tag with his staff. No human answers the phone. If you're not there when they call you back, you're out of luck. Phone tag isn't any more fun when you have a piece of glass stuck in your foot, either. I missed a 3:30pm call from the nurse on a Friday (just for a stinking referral) and had to suffer thru the weekend. That's when I found a new doctor.
