I can't believe that the rare bad review here is the same person. They must have got the wrong doctor. I'm a very infrequent visitor but he always felt like a close friend that truly cared . I felt I could discus my issues and mutually come to a conclusion. He always offered the quieter nearby town for tests, imaging and minor surgery. Never in about 15 years did I have the slightest problem with his diagnosis or manner. I agree that the whole clinic is very overworked especially now Dr Sokol and Dr Oswald? have retired.

Excellent doctor, I'm a patient of Dr.Sokol for nine years and he listens to you,empathy and very caring. He is very knowledgeable and will take the time to lesson to all you concerns. If you don't know Dr.Sokol don't rate Him. If he see's you on the street he always will say Hi. I've been disabled for two years and he helped me more than I can thank him.

This Dr has fired me when I needed him the most.I was so sick and all he could do was yell and send me to someone else.I even had to bring in a family member to avoid conflict! Even when I brought my Mom in he yelled at me from 1 inch of my face, swore and actually started shaking cause I asked for results on a test!He has blamed all my problems on FM, has given me meds that I have had before that made me sick, making me have to come back again but first go online to do research on care.He has way too many patients and is stressed to the max and always late and tries to get out of the appt. as fast as possible, feel like your in an assembly line and you hear....NEXT!!

This was BY FAR, the WORST, most unprofessional experience I have ever had at a Dr's office. He was cursing, was patronizing, dismissive and thoroughly unprofessional. When I asked if I would receive a call for my test, he said probably not. I am shocked to think this man actually graduated from medical school. He seemed like he was mentally ill.

Dr. Sokol has been our family doctor for over 10 years, and he has helped my family through cancer, death, and everything inbetween. We have a huge family in Lake Country and he can name us all by our faces, and knows how we're related. He always makes a point to show interest in our concerns, and makes time for family emergencies when he may not have the time to spare. I have, unfortunetly, had to deal with many doctors and he is by far the best family doctor you can have the privledge of having(and I have to rate the wait time 5/5 because in Ontario I had to wait +8 hours to see a doctor)

Dr. Dennis Sokal is very careful and thorough in my experience and likely prevented me from getting the big "C" of the intestine because of his prevention attitude in his work.

When I first went to him he was very helpful and caring and took time to explain what I didn't understand. He still is a very good doctor but I believe he is overworked. (too many patients)

Dr. Sokol is very caring and understanding. He orders tests when necessary and will quickly refer me to a specialist if he has concerns. He's awsome!
