A child, who had a fairly rare disease, was brought into the Rainbow Babies Hospital where Dr Susan Wiersma worked. After learning about the disease the parents wanted to bring their child to Cincinnati where the top experts treat the disease but Dr Wiersma assured the parents that not only was she an expert in the disease, but that she was in constant contact with the top physician at the Cincinnati hospital. After the child died the parents went to speak with the physician at the Cincinnati hospital to find out what went wrong. They were shocked to learn that the doctor had never heard of them or their child. Dr Wiersma lied to them all along.
