Have seen him a couple times and every time was disappointed. He was rude and didn't listen to a thing I said. Not helpful. My blood work and diff things have pointed to lupus but because I don't have a rash on my face the rest of my symptoms and blood work are irrelevant. Don't waste your time.

I saw this specialist for the first time about bursitis in my hips. I found him to be very thorough and he took the time to explain what my problem was and what my options were. I got in at the time of appointment and didn't feel rushed when I got to see him. I would highly recommend him to other patients and would definitely see him again if I needed to.

I have been seeing Dr. McDougall for over 15 years and, even though I have never seen another rheumatologist, he has always done his very, very best for me. We have a super relationship. I agree, don't whine -- he always asks me what my thoughts are before giving me advise. I really like him and feel very fortunate to have him as my Doctor. Sure he is self assured -- I would hate it if he wasn't. I like him.

I saw Dr. McDougall for the first time in January and then went for my second appointment after my blood work in Febuary. I was very worried because of the negative comments on this site. I have been diagnosed with Limited Scleroderma by Dr. McDougall and I am very pleased with his knowledge and his compassion. I am very thankful that he was the one that I was referred to. Thank you Dr. McDougall. Not the diagnosis that I wanted but now I know what is going on and won't be looked at as if nothing is wrong anymore!! Would recommend him in a heart beat if you have a serious issue, be prepared with pictures and any previous findings and he will connect the dots. Very smart man! Thanks again. the staff were very polite as well and showed concern & compassion.

I found this man to be very kind and had time to listen! I was given good advice and medication that seems to be working. I you are going to wimp and wine don't waste his time as we that are moving very slowly require his expertise.

After reading some reviews, I was a little skeptical prior to seeing Dr. McDougall for the first time. He reviewed my xrays & MRI, then met with me. I was very impressed with him. He asked me a lot of questions, explained my situation thoroughly and then discussed a treatment plan with me. I spent at least twenty minutes with him, and never felt rushed. He wasn't condescending at all, but was very supportive.

Typically, I would never feel the need to leave a rating on such a site as this, however, I feel that many of these are unfair. As it is in many lines of work, one seems to only hear from those who complain. Therefore, I felt the need to try and balance out those who have had a negative experience. I found Dr. McDougall to be very thorough in his examination and very helpful in addressing my health issues. He was genuinely concerned and took the time to address all of my questions and concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

As long as you are clear with him, he can be extremely helpful. My symptoms were getting worse since my last visit, so I called in to see if I could be pushed up in the queue. I was called a few days later and got in right away. Dr. MacDougal listened to me and gave me a new prescription and some helpful advice. His staff is kind and helpful as well. It's nice to have such a helpful specialist in SK.

Ok,so he might have some knowledge,I'll give him that,BUT it is not enuf to act as arrogant as he does. He missed a very important diagnosis with me years ago and told me I wasn't getting enuf sleep! I heard from someone else at the time that he told many people that. I almost died, whereas could have been in treatment over 5 years ago and in better health today if not for him! I am not happy and feel the need to pass the info on. He might be ok in some areas, but I DO NOT trust him with my life anymore.
