My husband was told that he needed to have his lower eyelid removed due to cancer. We were devastated. But, he and Dr. Capel were amazing! Cancer is gone and you can barely tell that he had a huge chunk of his face cut open and removed. We are soooo glad he was here to see us. And, he's kinda funny too......he kept the whole thing light for us. Love him!

I chose him for lower lid blepharoplasty as I felt he would do a better job than a plastic surgeon. I asked him if he would be repositioning fat to fill in the tear trough. His reply indicated to me that he would. Ge did not. However when I went back concerned with some remaining fat pad under one eye, he blew me off, gaslighting me, telling me that I was beautiful and to stop picking myself apart. My husband who never says a bad word about my body in any way and is not critical at all, has even commented that my lower lid on one side was still puffy and protruding and even more noticeable because the other eye looks great. He supposedly gives you a year to have any touch ups done, but when I wanted one, he was not receptive.
I will probably go to another surgeon to have it fixed as I don’t trust him anymore.

Greatest eye doctor in Alabama!! Dr. Vic was our 9th doctor in November 2022 and on day one visit, he found cancer in my brother's eye that had been causing him pain for 11 months even though he had cancer surgery in Montgomery in April by Dr. In C Shin which was done at 9:30 at night! Way too late to do surgery!! He comes out and tells me that he got it all. He didn't. Finally, after 7 other doctors in Bham, we saw Dr. Vic and he caught the cancer!! By now, the eye had to come out because it was a fast-growing cancer so Dr. Vic did the surgery that week. My brother is cancer free and out of continuous pain all because of the wonderful doctor!! I love him to pieces cuz he's soooooo good!!! He saved my brother's life!! Thank you a million times is not enough for the gratitude I feel in my heart. Dr. Vic is the best out there and he has a wonderful, funny bedside manner that puts you at ease. The way a doc should be!! Y'all, go see him!! He truly is a God-sent doctor and will treat you with respect and explain things to you in your words. Love, love, love him!!!!

I was sent to Dr. Vicinanzo with blocked tear duct that kept getting infected. An ENT had performed unsuccessful surgery in 2006 and I thought my case hopeless. Dr. Vicinanzo successfully did surgery on it and I could not be more pleased.

Dr Vicinanzo is an excellent surgeon, I have had four surgeries in the past two years including bilateral orbital decompression. I would highly recommend him and he is easy to talk to and has a great bedside manner as well. His staff is friendly, knowledgeable and caring.
