do NOT go to see this dermatologist!! Worst experience ever! He was very late, his wife/nurse was trying to take over the appointment, the building was in terrible condition, staff members continued to walk into our clinic room throughout our time there. Once he did arrive in the room he was hardly in there and then left, We had to ask the nurse for what the next steps as they were not even told to us, which we will NEVER be going back for. This was very alarming to our family. Save your time and money and go else where!

Do not go to this quack.
Rude staff, dirty office, and questionable qualifications. I was seeing Taylor for about three years because of severe itch and rashes. I was prescribed creams and more creams with no improvement. I tried telling them (nurse-wife) that it is not getting better and Taylor would not listen.
I went to see Dr. Kirk Barber in Calgary and he took one look and told me I have scabies. One would think that a so-called dermatologist would recognize scabies, but then the Doctor has to do the examination. I sit here and wonder how many people contacted scabies from me because this quack couldn't do his job.
Maybe even you got scabies from his office. Do not go to this Quack... contact Dr. Kirk Barber and see him.

He would not listen to me, did not ask about other medications and prescribed medicine that would have a bad interaction. He does not have access to the computer system that other doctors use and does not get all your information from your other doctors. Don't waste your tim and put your life in jeopardy with this quack!!!!!

We were very disappointed in Dr. Taylor's . We drove 3 hours for the appointment to get a diagnosis on my husband's skin condition. The doctor did a quick assessment and said very little. His assistant explained a bit about what was going on, and I think the diagnosis was probably correct. When my husband asked the doctor a couple of questions, he wouldn't give an answer. He just handed my husband a few printed sheets which he said would explain the condition, gave him a prescription and left. We probably could have found the same information on the Internet and saved ourselves the time and expense. The only benefit was a confirmation and a prescription. We would certainly request a different specialist next time, hopefully one who showed some interest and concern for his patients.

A rating of minus zero is still too high. He is scamming the Health Care System. Spending a few seconds with how many patients each day, and then billing Alberta Health!
Everything negative thing written about this guy is absolutely true. He comes in with his entourage, does not look at you, mumbles about you to his entourage , who then translates to you saying to come back in so many months. Really? Come back for what? This is legal money laundering at its best.

Dr. Taylor is fine if you get to know him, but I guess I can't blame him for not having enough time on patients. He is the only dermatologist, a musician, the founder of the Medicine Hat Chess Club, and a great chess player. For some people, they might not like him because he is late, unfriendly, mumbles... Late? Because he has other patients and things to worry about. Unfriendly? Anyone can become unfriendly after hearing so many insults. Don't insult a doctor unless you are a doctor with the same profession. Mumbles? He just talks fast, and fast talkers tend to be smart. Also, it's your fault that you missed an appointment. Overall, there's no problem with him that is linked directly to him.

Had a great experience with Dr Taylor at my appointment. My skin problem had cleared up by the time of my appointment. Only had pic to show him. Factual and to the point. Don't need my hand held just want information and how to control it. All questions answered. I would definitely recommend to others.

I am so not impressed with this Dr. I read reviews about how he charges $50 for missed apt which is fine and he has the right to charge as I understand it is his time. I was given a date and time of my apt and even had a witness in front of me as I wrote down my apt. I got a call from my referring Drs office late one afternoon saying I missed my apt and I told them no my apt is next week and double checked what I wrote down. They said ok dr Taylor’s office will call you to rebook . I waited a week before calling back and was told that I owe $95 for missing my apt. I explained to the receptionist that I wrote down a date and she basically told me that was my fault and not her and I can’t rebook without paying. I said I can’t afford to pay the full amount all at once and being on disability and a single parent and right before Christmas is there any way I can pay in instalments . She called me back after talking to The Dr and told me no that he said he will reduce this bill to $65 cash only and a written letter of apology for missing my apt. I talked to several people including professionals about this and they were shocked and said this is very degrading. I will definately be going elsewhere for my next apt.
