I am 72 years old and I worked as a programmer. When I needed to correct vision me worrisome that tampering with my vision could change my career, therefore I have decided to choose the best expert in California, who doesn't want the very best?
My vision before was very poor and I could not see clearly from the distance and near, I almost couldn’t see and was only getting worse. I had cataracts in both eyes and in one eye was very poor. But when I heard about Dr. Kagan and his phenomenal procedures, I gave in - I went for a consultation as I couldn’t read anymore.
I think Dr. Kagan is simply the best in Los Angeles. He is Honest, Professional, Knowledgeable. Extensively explains all alternatives, so his patients can make the best educated decision for themselves. He gave me a thorough evaluation on my eye problems.
In addition to him being a fantastic doctor he has friendly office staff always makes you comfortable and accommodating. I have been seeing Dr Kagan and his crew for 4 years now, and they are really quite amazing. Great stuff, beautiful offices, lots of attention and care. Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, very knowledgeable and understanding doctor made a huge impression on me. They became like family after seeing them multiple time through my multiple visits for the procedure and check-ups. And I trusted Dr. Kagan with this procedure because of his many years of experience, credentials, excellent results and his latest top equipment. Arkady promised I would see and probably never have to wear glasses again.
September 5, 2019 for right eye and October 17, 2019 for left eye entire process from start to finish went exactly as they said it would. Everything went smooth and without complications. My surgery was very successful.
It has been 3.5 years since I had my second eye operated on and I am glad to report that i am doing well. The results are amazing. I can’t believe how 20-minute procedure could so immediately and drastically change my vision...and therefore my life!
Dr. Arkady Kagan is a true miracle worker! I was nearly blind in one eye. I could barely see an eye. It is rare that your expectations are exceeded. I’m a programmer, so I was able to do computer programming in 1 days after correction!!!
Yet today, just 4 years after eye surgery by Dr. Kagan, I can already read very fine print with that eye and still cannot believe it! I see both far and near with both eyes with no glasses. The world around me has changed. It’s become brighter, happier, and so much more wonderful. It really is like magic.
I think Dr. Kagan and his team are the best in Ls Angeles. He is not only a great ophthalmologist and surgeon; he also does great cosmetic work. Highly Recommend!

I was referred to Dr. Arkady Kagan by a girlfriend of my wife - he is a highly professional doctor, exceptional service. I had heard great things about this doctor. However, I was hesitant because, well, it’s my eyesight and I wouldn’t just trust anyone - I had a very complicated situation - my vision before was very poor and I could not see clearly from the distance and near, I almost couldn’t see and was only getting worse. I had cataracts in both eyes and in one eye was very poor. But when I heard about Dr. Kagan and his phenomenal procedures, I gave in - I went for a consultation as I couldn’t read anymore.

Today Dr. Kagan is simply the best in Los Angeles. He is Honest, Professional, Knowledgeable. Extensively explains all alternatives, so his patients can make the best educated decision for themselves. He gave me a thorough evaluation on my eye problems.

After extensive research when I went in on the day of my surgery, my nervousness faded (primarily due to Dr. Kagan’s knowledge, caring attitude, and his staff’s understanding). I am 73 years old and this was my first visit to Dr. Kagan. I cannot speak highly enough of the doctor and his entire staff. I went for an annual check-up and was treated like an honored guest from check-in to when I left. Stephanie walked me through my tests professionally and with gentleness and humor, and then took me in to see Dr. Kagan. The doctor was personable, and explained medical terms in plain language. And even had a video ready to explain cataracts to me in an easy to understand way. On a side note, there was a elderly gentleman who needed help getting in and out of the different examination chairs and with the different tests and he was treated with tremendous kindness and gentleness. by the nurse who was giving him his eyes tests. I was very impressed by this. On a different note, regarding parking, my appointment was at 2:15 and I found easy 2 hour parking on the side streets.

I have known Dr. Kagan for over 18 years now. He is a nicest doctor out there. I had some cosmetic procedures done over the time. Fillers, botox, peels and laser. My mother had lasik surgery done on both of her eyes. We are just happy patients overall. The most I like about Dr. Kagan, that if he doesn't see a need for his patient to do certain cosmetic procedures done, he will talk patient out of the idea. Its all about the results for Dr. Kagan. I am happy that i discovered his office years back.

I had heard great things about this doctor. I went for a consultation as I couldn't read without glasses anymore. Dr. Kagan explained in details why people over 40 partially lose their near vision. He spoke slowly and answered all my questions. He showed me an educational video describing why farsightedness happens and how it can be fixed. I had a Conductive Keratoplasty. The procedure took 5 min for both eyes. I could read the very same day. I told all my friends about Dr.Kagan and the CK surgery. In 21 century, people are not stuck with reading glasses anymore.

Consultation was Sept. 2016. I'm happy with doctor. He is Professional, Trustworthy, Caring, Patient, and Knowledgeable. *he gave eye contact as he spoke with me *he listened *he ask questions *he asked questions *he answered my questions *he was patient with me *he is compassionate *he made me feel comfortable *he made me feel I can trust his professional opinion. He and his staff are very pleasant and very helpful, especially Turana. It's nice to find a doctor that you can confide in, trust, that's professional and whom is a really nice guy. :-)

When I went for my consultation I was a little nervous about the whole thing, but after speaking with the doctor Kagan and having all of my questions answered I felt a lot better..we decided PRK procedure was the best way to go, during the procedure Dr Kagan and his staff were extremely gentle and understanding..my vision is excellent and has never been better! From the staff to Dr Kagan, I want to thank all of you for an amazing experience! I highly recommend this place to anybody who is thinking about going through this procedure!

Dr. Katana and his team are the best in town. He is not only a great ophthamologist and surgeon, he also does great cosmetic work. I live in the valley and I don't mind driving to the city every time I need a procedure . The results are always great. He is honest and knowledgeable and most of all he takes time to explain the procedure and what you should expect after it, to the point where you feel comfortable.

I had a Lasik surgery 8 years ago performed by Dr. Kagan. My vision before was very poor and I could not see clearly from the distance. I trusted Dr. Kagan with this procedure because of his many years of experience, credentials, excellent results and his latest top equipment. I like that he updates his medical knowledge by going to conferences and seminars. Since I had this surgery my life has changed completely, I can feel like a full functional person, not depending on lenses or glasses. All these years I never experienced any issues with my eyes thanks to Dr. Kagan’s help. I strongly recommend him for any of your ophthalmic needs. I am very happy with the results.
